I owned a 1200 custom and loved it. I've also owned a few other bikes that weren't harleys and loved them too, but somethings about the harley were sweet. They have a totally different feel. I think there are certain people that give Harley a bad name, along with the oil leaks at 15k miles. Other than the oil leaks I had no problems with mine at 15k. I will own another, either a wide glide or that new rocker. On a side note Buel to me is shit wrapped in metal, and a V Rod isn't a real Harley. Just my two cents.

Dont think that would take much. Give Aero Radiator in hilliard a call. They are very good to deal with from personal experience.

I called blackwing and one of the instructors of the course cleared a lot of things up for me. From what I understand is that the decision is up to local sherrif departments. You can either go to your residential county sherrif department or any county sorounding you. Basically the descresion is up to them and it is all based on my DD form 214 and what training is listed. Seeing that I have some of the most extensive handgun training the Air Force offers I don't see why anything would be an issue. He explained to me that some people who just show Basic Military Training weapons safety on their form 214 may not qualify enough to get a permit, considering you don't even touch a handgun. I just need to find my form 214 and make an appointment with one of the counties department.

I read that also but still I can not ever understand what that is clearly stating.

I have been real interested for a long time now about my concealed carry. I just got back home from active duty orders a couple weeks ago and I am ready to pursue obtaining a permit. My question is, I've heard some people say it can be a little different getting your ccw if you are in or you are prior service military. Is this true? Some have told me that the only difference is that I wouldn't have to qualify seeing as how I am certified expert marksman, some people have told me that they don't recognize military training and I have to take the same things everyone else does. I have also been told that I don't have to go through any training at all due to the fact that I have completed weapons training courses including safety and qualifications. Just looking for anyone to clear this up for me.

It shuts itself down before the screen would ever have a chance to come on. I just talked to my mom who had the same laptop and she said the same thing happened to hers 6 months ago.

It sounds like the computer starting. The fans turn on and I believe it is the hard drive. Everything sounds normal and after about 4 seconds or so everything stops.
-
I tried it plugged in and unplugged. I also tried it with the battery completely out. It was fully charged two days ago also.

I have an hp compaqnc6000 laptop that has been around for about 5 years or so. It's been a great computer for me and I'm not ready to get rid of it mainly because it has the little button in the keyboard for the mouse and new ones dont have it. That may sound weird but thats what I'm used too. It has worked fine with no issues except some virus here and there that are quarantined. I shut it down the other morning after being on all night listening to music and tried to power it up yesterday and it starts to come on and makes noise, the charging battery light comes on, and then goes out and it stops making noise. The screen never comes on. What could this be and is it worth trying to fix or should I just buy new. My biggest issue is I have about 20g of music and a lot of other things on my hard drive I'm not ready to lose.

Back in may before I left for active duty I grenaded my posi at a truck pull. I just got back a few weeks ago and order a new powr lok posi for my dana 70. I got the old one out just fine and Im not going to touch the pinion gear so I dont think Ill have much problem with pinion depth. Now this is my first do it myself rear end since I left wyotech two years ago and I just want to be carefull. I was going to shave the inside out of the old bearings just enough to slide onto the new posi and mock it up with the shims to check backlash. One of my bearing got sorta bent up when trying to remove it so Im not sure Im going to be able to use it for mock up. Should I have to worry about my backlash if I use the same ring and pinion, and use the same shims in there exact location on the old posi to the new one?

anyone know where Rock Band for xbox360 is available?
XChris1632X replied to TurboRust's topic in Dumpster
wallmart marysville has plenty. The problem for me was finding a ps3. I ended up getting it the night it released. The best buy in dublin had a delay in shipment and had 0 for the 360 and only 8 for the playstation so they were giving rain checks. I ended up going to super wallmart in marysville and they had a line of 10 people and plenty for 360. There was some confusion on whether they had some for ps3 or not but found 6 in the back, so I was lucky. Either way thats the only place I've been but I know they have plenty. -
Bud Light! Thats all I drink and all I care to drink. Tonight I plan on putting at least 30 of them down and I will put money on the fact that I wont even begin to be hungover. I usually drink Captain Morgan but ever since I've been on active duty here in Texas all I crave is Bud Light.

The owner told the dealership that he wanted to keep the wheels for something and he bought those wheels for cheap so he put them on the car.
-
They are definatly a little more expensive down here. I'm starting to lean more towards the c-5 because it is a bit nicer and already has stuff I like added on. I really want to make sure that Im not going to be upset later that its not a Z. For some reason I really want an Ls6. Someone told me that there was a difference in pistons. Is that true?

Austin what is the details on your car, including this right price?

Thanks for all of the replies. I really like the red one and the corsa exhaust sounds amazing. There is only a scuff on the back bumper and its really been taken care of. My only problem with it is at the end of the day it isnt a zo6. The z is black and really alot of what I wanted but the paint has some scratches and a bit of wear and the wheels were taken off and the owner put on the old ass steel c5 wheels on it, so it looks retarded. For now my plans for a vette would be a really nice cruiser for the summer that I can throw some bolt ons to it but not get crazy anytime soon and taking away from other projects. Mainly exhaust which the red one has, and a 100 shot. I still want the z because Im obviously buying a vette because when all is said and done I want it to perform. The paint is the biggest thing for me on the black one, I can paint but Im busy painting two other vehicles and I dont want to have to do it on a car a pay 30k for. Again I really like the red one but its not a Z, so im torn! For those who said something about buying one of them, it would be a long drive from Ohio down to San Antonio to pick one up. Im temp stationed here until Oct so I wont be able to even bring it back to columbus until then.

So after about a year of tossing it up and thinking about it I have almost 100% decided to buy a vette. Sorry to all those who already drive them and have for a long time, I am definatly not just jumping on the bandwagon I am simply able to afford one now. I really have wanted a zo6 and the other day I thought I found the one. Long story short= after a couple minutes of me looking at it I realized it wasnt a zo6 but just a 02 c5 with the zo6 vents on the bottom of the rocker. It is a targa top c5 with 20k miles and full corsa exhaust that sounds amazing. It matches my Camaro with ext. and int. colors and I really liked it. They also have a black 04 zo6 with 50k miles on it and both are the same price. The 04 definatly has some old ass c5 rims on it because the previous owner kept the good rims. Basically I am in a toss up between cars and I cant help but think about getting a bad ass c-5 and always know my car is not a zo6 or buy the zo6 and not be able to enjoy the wind in my hair from the lack of targa top. Which would you buy and why?

I am currently in Security Forces tech school for the Air Force. I graduated basic in july and I still have untill the end of october to go. So far I love it. It is just like anything else or any other job there is still bullshit. I am definatly looking to persue my career even farther and I hope to go to sniper school within the next year. Feel free to let me know if you have questions. I know I havent really experienced a lot of the operational side of things but I can tell you anything that I do know.

Thanks to all. Yes SF is kinda like mp but way better and way more broad. We do a little of everything.

It feels like it has been for ever since I have been on here, but I haven't had any civilian interactions for 8 weeks. I just graduated Air Force basic training and I finally allowed to do normal things again. I will be spending the next 13 weeks staying here in Lackland for Security Forces training but now I am able to carry on my normal life after 4pm. It is nice being able to log in again but it sucks becuase I have no idea what has happened in the last 8 weeks. Yeah Im just putting all of this out there because I can now but for those of you who don't care, carry on.
-
Yes thank you to all that gave some, and the some that gave all. It is a very important day for me and my family, and tuesday will be even more important as I will finally head off to basic training and AIT for five months.

Ive had my truck back together about three weeks now and I have fixed a lot of small problems that have added up. Other than a fuel leak from a return line everything seems to be solid. I decided on saturday it was ready for the truck pulls. I went ahead and voided the warranty on my three week old injection pump and tapped the wire for the full 140hp/350ft lbs extra it gives me and I pulled it. I only built maybe 8psi on the line before launching it and boom. My Dana 70 rear end completely shattered itself internally. I am venting because now it will sit the entire time I am away this summer and it has only been together for a couple weeks. Not really too upset about it though, especially since I brought it on myself and I also believe in you gotta pay if you wanna play. I was one of only two trucks to break. If anyone has any info on where I can get a dana 80 rear let me know.

How soon do you need it? I could do it for you but since I am leaving in a few days it wouldnt be untill fall.

Still for sale and leaving in a couple days for a long time so $125 for the motor and carbs. Or pick up all the part for the bike + the motor for $200.
