Tonight I just bought a barely past break in used 05 yfz450. Just wondering if anyone knows much about them. I havent had a quad in three years so Im a bit out of the loop. What are the ins and outs of them. I also have a kind of off the wall question but someone just told me that they went to the bmv and got a sticker for like 8 bucks that allows them to legally ride them on any county or township road. I have never heard of this and have always got in trouble for riding on the road.

I wanna go, as of tonight I am the proud new owner of a bone stock yfz 450. Im so excited, I havent had a quad since I got rid of my banshee 3 years ago. This bitch is bad and might be a little bit faster stock than my banshee was built.

I thought that I heard somewhere that off-road fuel was staying Low Sulfur and not going to ULS.

how much is it? I dont think Ive met any of you but would love to blow off some rounds. Are there any special rules or regulations? If Im not hung over I'd love to attend.

I had chassis fab with that guy that bought the ls1 and watched him dyno it and afterwards he still wouldnt race me if I was going to spray on him.

If you read up on it she was not wearing her seatbelt as she was driving in the pass. seat with 3 other people. I dont know if the guy driving was a friend or a new boyfried or what, but from what I have been told recently is that he is in jail and drugs and alcohol were involved. She was only 17 and if drugs and alcohol were really involved I hope he gets put away for a long time and what happened saturday night haunts him for the rest of his life. He is 18 so he will be tried accordingly. She was a very nice girl, my whole family enjoyed to have her around. Nothing bad to say except that she was mixed up with the wrong croud. It is very surreal and eye awakening, Plain city and Jonathan Alder is very small so everyone knows each other and are usually in close contact with everyone very often. It is very unfortunate. I hope it really wakes up all the people that knew here in the community and went to school with her.

you were there the same time I was then and graduated the same time. You were probobly in street rod the same time I was in chassis fab. My roomates were in automotive and a bunch of my friends from collision were in street rod.

If I had a manual I wouldnt need much of a memory right? And when and which wyotech did you attend?

I have always been a burton guy but have everything from burton to rad air's. This year I bought a rome machine with rome arsenal bindings and burton moto boots. For those who dont know rome is the new anti-Burton company. They have been around for a couple years and the story is that two guys who were fired from burton started a new company with similiar and better designs. People are just now figuring out that rome is secretly funded and owned by burton. I love my new rome and will continue to own a rome/burton.

In all honesty I do not know much about internals of trannys. My work has a 99 e-350 box truck with a 4r100 in it which I have never heard of. I lost overdrive in this down in noteethtown WV this week, I figure it needs a rebuild. I am a tractor trailor/desiel mechanic but have never been into a trans internally. I see it as a challenge and would really like to try to rebuilt this and save the company money while getting the experience on my shops tab. At the same time I need to be confident that I can pull it off with no problems and be able to ensure my boss of that so he will let me do it. I can not afford it to not succeed. For those of you with experience, should I give it a shot? Any tips, or info on this tranny and specialty tools I may need?

I am a very easy going guy that loves to have fun but in all honesty I have been dealing with severe anger issues since around 10 or 12 years old. I dont know why, and I had a great childhood so thats not it. I spent a great deal of time throughout junior high and high school suspended for fighting and stupid shit. I was always in trouble and didnt care. When I met my girlfriend almost four years ago all of my anger issues totally went away. That lasted for about two years. I have never and never will be physical towards her but the way I get pissed and the things I say to her are very harsh sometimes. I am still on a daily basis dealing with my anger and yes there have been recent times that things have resorted to violence. I am ashamed of it because I am not a immature high school kid that just fights when he gets mad. The only thing that is really different now than five years ago is that now I try to really think about my actions and the situation before I react, I am getting better and I cant stand to live my life like this. Especially now that I am waiting to leave for the military.

I have a female german sheppard/lab mix puppy that I have had since she was three months old. I saved this dog from owners that didnt take care of her like they should of. Plans have changed for me and I leave for the Air force in May, therefore things are very hectic for me right now and I can no longer give the dog the attention she deserves. She is very playfull and very sweet dog, who is house broken and no longer chews on stuff she really isnt supposed to. She is happy as long as she get a car ride here and there and someone to throw a toy with her. I care for the dog very much and would like to see her go to a place that I know she will be well treated with room to play and run. I dont have any recent pictures of her but do have some from about four months ago.

You are right it was BASF. I was thinking dupont becuase I couldnt think of anything that sounded right, but now that you say it I know for sure. In my opinion that is the only thing BASF has done worth a shit.

Yes I do believe it was by dupont in 96 and by ppg in 04. Although both companies have their own "chameleon" paint they are different mixes that ford got. PPG calls their harliquin, and I forget duponts. HOK is kameleon. This stuff from any of these companies are very expensive but I know that ford definatly jacks the price up even more.

Its crazy that even ten years later for still wont release the make up of that paint. One of my instructors when I was in school had to repair and paint one of those and ford still sends someone out to mix the paint, watched him paint to make sure he didnt try to keep some of the paint, and then cleaned his equiptment out and took the unused paint with him.
