we don't use a tripod, all of our lasers come with a wall mount bracket that you can either screw to the wall, use the magnetic attachment (we frame with metal studs) or attach with a clip type attachment. If you are just doing simple things around the house a camera tripod would work just fine for you.

this is a very awesome thing that you are doing man!!! I will throw my hat in the pile, this would be my second time ever on a big track. either way I would like to make this, I wont vote on dates because I am pretty open on what I can make work. -
we raced here last year...fun track and in my opinion much better facility and management then the one off of 70.

Alum Creek has some public hunting as well, I used to kill a deer or two there every year...Have not hunted there in probably 8 years though so I don't know if anything has changed but it never used to be crowded at all.

We have done a few...the Cassitas in Mexico are very nice but I don't know if your price is realistic for that time of the year?
