+1 Thats why my vote went to Grattan. Its a drive, but atleast its the weekend and better instructional classes for riders like myself.

Ive had everything I needed for a trackday newb since last year. Just didnt make it out to Gingerman for the OR day due to AF stuff. I have no trailer and time right now, but should be free by March. I just have never been completely confident on the street. Some guys can go out on the street and not give a shit about speed/road conditions/upcoming obstacles (oncoming cars)/cops/etc...i just cant ride street fully concentrated on riding....thats my goal to making it out to a track so I can mainly focus of riders and the course. Just need the time and a trailer buddy. Can I trade the blow for an extra hooker instead? Ill settle for a midget.

Voted for Grattan...its a weekend so the longer drive isnt a problem and with recommendations for STT for newb trackers.

I think the prices will stabilize once LCDs are pushed out of the market. They're prices are starting to converge and once that happens there's no reason to pick LCD over LED. Then LCD price will have to drop dramatically.

If you want a trailer for the sole purpose of track days, you can just rent a trailer from Uhaul when need be. They have specific trailers for motorcycles. I bought a '97 4runner for $4000 four wheel drive. The engine is strong, i just need to fix a brake issue. Theres plenty of SUVs in the $4-5k range in good condition. You can find a sub $5k four wheel drive SUV with a trailer hitch. Plenty of room for track goodies, and practical. Then rent a trailer for the occasional track day, you dont seem like the type to be at the track every weekend. Save the extra $5k for a new bike, track gear, and track days.
