I think anyone who has film/vids of their fun times has been through the same thing. My frustration is getting a cam that will be easy to use in the car, on the bike and on the snowbaord. I'm tired of messing with gear that is limited in function and not 100% quality. GoPro and Conture are the only ones I see covering everything, and they cost a bit. The process of getting footage is a huge pain in the ass that I hate at the time. Then to have it not turn on, have to get out and start it, hang out the sunroof to turn it on, or have a passenger hold the camera.......... all and all, you will lose a quality feature by going the cheaper route. You have to choose what you are willing to give up to save the $$$.

I've been through a couple GoPro's and am getting ready to buy a new one. I use them on the bike and the car's for rally. The remote option is an must have and they just does't seem to be a cheap way to get "good everything". You are going to lose out somewhere, whether it be sound quality or durability, I can't justify not spending the money if it's going to be used on cars and bikes. Not that it's cheaper, but be aware of Conture as a good camera also.

I love hearing people talk about how close their dad's are in their life. Sorry from your loss. Sounds like a great man.

I think this is covered well in Adams thread last week. I addressed it on the soft side and we went back and forth for a bit with no hardship. I think CR should be hooking up CR. I think many agree. But some go about things different, and there is nothing that says they have to "hook up a CR member" if they list it here. Fact is, anyone can sell anything for what they want. In the past there was a gun for sale for $xxx. I PM'd the person addressing my interest, but informing the price was about $150 over what they normally sell for. I asked if there was something not listed I might be over looking. He sold it to me for the $150 less. I say give them th option through PM. The thing is, PMing to address things is a lot better approach with less drama in a FS thread.

I signed the patition on that linked page. Thought it was trying to set up an open carry gathering, which would be interesting.

April's date is the same weekend as the Deals Gap Rotory Rally. I'm split on the two right now. Probably be at the others though.

Shot a 1911 in .45 in 1992 at about 30 feet. As I recall it, I shot the post the target was on, where it goes in the ground. Every round fired was a fail to hit the target when I was using the sights. Never picked one up again until 2 weeks ago. Shot another .45 and of 5 rounds, 3 were touching on center target. Hmmm, might have me thinking to look into them more.

I have stated several times on here the P22 is one of my favorite guns. I think some may give it a bad review, because it's not your normal function they might be use to. Keep it clean, and it's a fine shooter. M&P and Ruger are also on my list that I may pick up.

It's not directed to you Killjoy. It's in general. But, it does include you. Again, it's not that the price isn't what is for sale out there. My whole basis is that I would rather see CR hooking up CR.

Thought I would go a different direction with a gun thread. The most disliked, and why. I'm sure not all will agree, but state your reasons and maybe someone agrees. Maybe someone is considering buying a gun you dislike and doesn't know it has the issues you experienced. For me, it's the Ruger LCP .380. This little gun just doesn't do it for me. I had one and it worked as it should. Except the issue with failure to feed. I feel the angle to the chamber from the magazine is too steep for hollow points. I did some work on the feed ramp to reduce the angle and it only helped a little. So i decided to just use ball ammo. It was ok, but still had issues from time to time. Aside from that, this small hand gun produces a lot if recoil. I know how it's put together. I understand why it does kick as it does. I just don't like it. I have seen several people get this as their first gun and not have much time shooting anything before it. Yet, this is the gun they have now. It's a challenging little gun to try and hit the target.

You're going a different direction with this than what my comments intend. I posted again to try and clarify. I'm not saying the items don't work. I'm not saying it's not what the going price may be. I'm saying I see CR as a closer group then selling to a stranger.

I don't think anyone can say anyone is robbing anyone here. I personally just don't like making a big profit off someone I know. Demand or not, CR price or sell somewhere else I think would be a better approach. That's me though. Maybe this is why I'm not a Mortgage broker anymore.

I get what everyone is saying on here. But here's the thing, CR as I see it, is in a way a large family. This is a place for people of "like" interests. And with that, I see the members here as some of the people I might be able to rely on. Hence, I wanted CR gun owners to have the mags at a blow out price. Some of it could be in the phrasing, I see the blown up pricing and I would rather see them on another site than here. I would rather see it as " Here's what I have available and what it's worth now". "If your someone who missed out on buying when they were more available, here's what I have. What I have seen is the, hey dumb fuck I don't care, as long as I make double what I paid and can LOL later at you. Money is nice, but it's not worth burning someone you know.

I sold all mine 2 weeks ago. Just ask all my Facebook friends.
