  1. You need a CDL if you put a trailer on the 5th wheel of the 915A1. The motors are pretty easy to work on and redneck fixes common with this truck. Should still be a lot of parts out there. The A1 was pulled from service in the last 3 years and replaced by an A3, which is now being replaced by the A5 with a sleeper cab. There are no luxury's in the A1. No AC other than the window being down. Heat, if it works, is there. They are 6x6 and can pull a metric shit ton. Seats suck for comfort. Whatever glass they used for the windows breaks very easy, so broken wind shields are common. There is enough room, if you are creative, to fuck a chick in one. Just sayin.
  2. Gabe, you looked like a thin guy, and that's with all the ski gear on. I was thinking like maaaaaybe 155. GLW hitting your goal. For me: Look good naked, life goal, always has been. Hasn't been an issue ever. Train and maintain. Eat right and earn the bad food. Train to enjoy the things I do and be able to do them better, ie, snowboarding and work related activities.
  3. Scotty already said it. WTF is the issue with a guy who would go out of his way to help just about anyone? He's a big guy, so that's all the game you have? Fucking cleaver!! Seriously you not knowing Eric, is you missing out. Dude is like a brother to me. And to read this bullshit from people who wouldn't have the balls to walk up and say hi, it's just weak sauce boys. Problem is, now you won't say hi because you'll be affraid you look like an ass when you get to know the guy. Issue with that is, you already look like an ass. Just introduce yourself, and then apologize.
  4. Well it got me the job, so no cares. I make dollarz yo. And....... I'm sexy and I know it.

    Happy b day

Damn it, I was on the road and missed it. Thanks for posting Eric. I'll get him on FB.
  7. We don't know how you plan to use it. Why don't you tell use more about what kind of shooting you're planning on doing or how you plan to use the weapon. What range to you want to be able to shoot? From there, I'm sure some great options will be posted.
  8. Tattoo's are a life story. I never got any until I was 35 and from there I had several done. I know who I am and should I be judged for my ink, it's their lose. What you choose to have put on you has to means something to you though. You have to feel with it and be able to relate. Travis Barker decided by the time he was 19, he would be tatt'd up to his neck. And he was. He did this to ensure he would have to focus on music as a way of life, because he was sure no other fields would except him after all the ink work. Luck for him, he doesn't suck at what he does. But for me, you have to be tasteful. The tattoo's are mine. What I have, I'm not trying to show them or get attention for them(except for my camel toe, that's just funny every time). And it seems today, most people are getting them to be trendy. It's great that they are more openly accepted. But to me, there is still a fine line between expressing yourself and class. It's really just perception. My $.02.

    Drive

This movie should have been called "Dive", it was slower than anything you can drive. It took forever for nothing to happen. And the acting sucked. Blazing Saddles had more to offer about driving.
  10. If they keep you past your orders date to end, that is a different pay out plan. Like $50 a day + base pay and entitlements. It will vary depending on the kind of orders. Deployment, title 10 orders for a Guard or reservist, you will receive the HDP only in a justified area. If you left that area say on the 29th, you still get it, even if your orders don't end until the 5th of the following month. but you don't get it for the following month because you left the HDP area already. It ;s the same orders though. This is typical for soldier coming home or waiting in a mob site waiting to fly in country. Senators and Congress representatives were cashing in on this too. Now, the get $7.50 a day in Kuwait. They tell the story of, "I was in the Middle East". Kuwait is a paradise. It's freaking nice there. This is a good thing to cut cost and keep people honest and in check.
  11. Yup there is it. He didn't pull Combat pay. There is Hazardous duty pay(HDP) and the old combat pay(IDP) or something like that. If you are in Kuwait or Kyrgyzstan, non combat zones at this time, you get IDP. Afghanistan is HDP. Difference is, you get $7.50 a day you are in an IDP, up to $225 a month. HDP gets $225 a month even if you are in that zone 1 day and you paperwork is turned in reflecting it. This break up of the IDP is so VIP's can get a per diem for going to a some what, or once upon a time risky area. Some how Air Force personnel were getting paid for hitting Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait on supply runs all in the same month, and getting paid separately for each zone they landed in. Several hundred dollars extra a month was on that pay stub. There wasn't anything saying they couldn't, so no one was in trouble. You get the point on this though I think. Make no mistake, I'm not a Obama supporter. I just want the right word out there.
  12. Eric, tell me this is the dude that that Asian chick, who is all caught up on herself was seeing/dating/ whatever the hell their deal was? Had the S2000 that I ran with the RX7 a few summers ago.
  13. No kidding! I have had it for 3 months and am more than happy. My over all return is over 18%. Just over a year, you are sitting pretty nice.
  14. Anyone have Apple? How long have you had it?
  15. Here's the deal. Get it used in good condition or go check Independent Motorsports. Unless you know exactly what you are looking for, and I know you are just getting into riding again, see what they have. Anything you need, bounce it off casey and he will always take care of you. If you don't know exactly what you are looking for, let him help and point you in the right direction. There are smaller shops that will take care of you in the long run Vs. big names who don't know who you are. I went through the whole deal with going to several different shops, just checking them out. The only place that wasn't a dick or too busy, was Independent. 3930 South High Street Columbus OH 43207 Phone: 614-917-1350
  16. Need assistance? It should be verified and justified. Then there needs to be a plan of action for how to get you off it with a deadline. The deadline holds and the act of getting off the assistance falls on the one recieving aid. Deadlines should be short periods and realistic to finding work for those capable of working. Meaning you better be a vegitable for long term aid. Physical disabilities should be enrolled in a trade retraining program. Fail to go to the school, you lose your aid. No shitty excuses. Day care will be at the school. kid's sick, you go to the aid programs medical facility and get a note from the DR. If you need the help of your community, you owe it to them to be held accountable for way you spend your time and their money. You lose certain rights if you are in the program, because you NEED assistance. You will be drug and alchohol tested randomly. Failure to comply with guildlines kicks you out of the program and then you are on your own. From there, you will realized you have to be a crook or work. Should you choose the be a crook, punishment should be harsh to the point of inprisioned labor. Example: working in land fills and trash pick up, sewage treatment, mining and other undesirable work that needs done. Simple solution could be, if you fail to manage your life, you no longer get to. Why do people assume they should be taken care of? Now this is not a 100% fix for everyone, but let's call it 60%. Crime would go through the roof for a while. Impliment the program in early Spring, and by Winter's cold weather, people better have their shit together. You have a family? Don't fail them. Just you on your own? Get your shit together.
  17. Get on a road course as soon as you can. We have talked about this. A beginner group is a great place to learn the bike and get pointers on riding. Riding on the street is hit or miss, sometimes literally. Get your gear and wear it. And let me know when you are set up for a class for you license, if I'm back I'll try to go with you.
  18. I assume you have to join the forum and message the guy to order? I like the 1000 #'s
  19. Jones, I just looked on that site and don't really see great deals. I found 5.7x28 while I was in VT for $21.99, they were hollow point, and bought what they had. Vance's will only do $1 off per box if you buy 500rnds, so $23.99 a box. Where is the best deal on this ammo you have seen?
  20. Doc, I propose the weekend before the rally, we have another meet up and all the rally cars be there ready to go. That would let all the CR folk check them out and a nice chance to hang with everyone.

    Zombie Slayer

Funny I have been eye fucking the hell out of a 37mm attachment for the M4. Why? Becuase zombie gun. There are some waaaay over priced neat things to shot from them, like fire works. Just saying, I might pull the trigger on it.
  22. Worked for me. They just don't have your name listed yet Bill.
  23. Make that 2. See what you can do Scotty.
  24. Not to be mistaken. I'm not in situations over here where I engage at long distances. I'm simply more comfortable manipulating sight adjustments with the iron ones. I'm just wondering what people have tried and the results. Over 300, I'm looking for a scope or sticking with dialed in iron sites Vs. a dot style sight. Sorry for the thread jack John. FWIW, I run this on a tactical converted Ruger 10/22. Reviews say it is damn close to an Aimpoint. Having shot both, I'd say it does it's job. But have not shot it over 50yrds. I will be mounting it on an M4 for some range fun when I get home to see how it does. Hard to beat the cost when it works. http://www.wayfair.com/Vortex-Optics-StrikeFire-Red-Dot-Scope-with-Bright-Red-Dot-Extra-High-Mount-SF-BR-AR15-VXO1265.html?refid=GPA49-VXO1265&gclid=CMLx2d_ygK4CFQjwzAoddiiu3Q
  25. What I'm not reading in here is the amount of oil the car holds. 8 quarts is a lot for an inline six. And when you're making you comparisons, understand most cars are maybe 5 quarts. The break down on the 8 quarts is going to take longer. I change the oil in my E46 based on my driving. If I worked the car hard, I changed the oil. I think we can all agree that's what we do, or know we should. Average BWM owner putting around Dublin keeping up with the Jone's, no care when the oil needs changed.
