I picked up a new bait caster and needed some pointers. Went to cabelas and talked to a guy name Barry. He was very helpful and made sure I got the right gear that worked together. I had no idea open face reels and bait casters need to go on a different type of rod. I say that, thinking he can probably optimize what you are trying to do. I thought I know, but I was over looking a few things. Just FYI.

Seldomly. When family or friends have been over, we fish, but I haven't done too many invites. Moved here last year and have been working on and trying to enjoy the pond. It went 7 years with no attention given to it. It had fish in it, but no quality aeration, muck control or food balance. This season should make a big difference to get things right. I have been doing all the planning for 6 weeks on building a solar powered aeration system with submersible pump. The stocking from last year, and now this year, I'm hoping to see a huge difference for activity in the pond next season.

Fished the pond at the house last week. I have been stocking it pretty good, and was able to get a hold of a 3-4 LB large mouth. Literally just got off the phone ordering more fish and minnows.

Empty Camelbak, but a gallon jug of water in the car that you change out from time to time. I'd keep the life straw in the car too. Its light weight and better to have it and not need it. Good to see people think about getting home. When Alabama got hit with that bad weather and all those people were stranded on the highway, my wife thanked me for keeping a bag of goodies in her car.

This is a good full class of 10. But, I'll take 1-2 more people. Something always comes up for somebody.

We picked up a Subaru XV Crosstrek in December. We love it. It's getting 29mpg, and is AWD. The suspension is pretty impressive. They have good features, it's not over done. Price was between $21K and $26K, depending on options.

Put on your man pants. Drink water to flush and rehydrate your body. You have spent years putting shit in your body and it is going to take time to unfuck what you have done to it. You don't have time to workout? You don't have time to complain. If you don't make time for your body to be healthy, you are cheating yourself and subjecting your loved ones to have to deal with your poor health down the road. Nice way to say I love you. If you ahve kids, you are the roll model. You are Superman Awesome dad, and being unhealthy isn't an option, because those kids need you. Soda pop should taste like shit now. Or, maybe you just feel like shit now. It's up to you. Unhealthy is selfish and disrespectful to your loved one.

Maybe a CR member who does these, will invite somone interested, to go with them to one.

There are thousands of career fields out there. We can debate what's ok in one, but not in another, all day long. Each side has its point. People are going to put themselves in an environment with like type people, 95% of the time. The military has evolved to specialty units for its fighting force, Vs large unit forces. My company went to Jungle warfare school in 1994, 150+ Marines. Now, there is no money to train an entire unit. So, what they do is send 10 people, and then those people are suppose to go back and train the people in their company. You always lose a little bit of info that way.
