  1. As long as they are not cracked, broken, or incorrectly centered, they are doing their job. I have run cheap plastic centering rings from Discount Tire for years now with no issues. Perhaps you just got a set of junk wheels. Who did you buy them from, they may have an exchange policy if the wheels cause vibration or are not true. This is on the Maxima, right? I was going to guess that maybe you had some damaged suspension bits, but that's a pretty new car so that is unlikely.
  2. Why does your job give two fucks about what kind of car you drive?
  3. Why would it cost less? Nissan would have to spend time and money developing a manual transmission that could handle the power. In terms of complexity, a manual transmission is less costly, but when you factor in the production costs of implementing a second transmission choice, it would likely cost the same as the DSG.
  4. 13-14K STi is going to be either beat dick or have ~150k miles on it. I've been eying STi's and they hold their value quite well on the second hand market.
  5. Fixed that for you. Congrats on the purchase and looks like you all had fun on the vacay.
  6. BMW covers all HPFP issues until 100k+ miles.
  7. So it's a 300 with chrome, how revolutionary.
  8. My Dad works for a different group within Byers, and according to him Mazda/Subaru is one of Byers' strong dealerships right now.
  9. No way, this has to be a troll. 100% convinced now.
  10. Location: WalMart parking lot
  11. Nowadays, just having a manual transmission will defeat most people.
  12. How has no one questioned the Jeep yet? 14.89, WTF?
  13. Unless it's a "eliminator" style tree, you could have a 30 minute RT and still run 10's. Also, think launch control, LC + AWD turbo car = 60' killer.
  14. Good luck with that. When racing a GTR, it's not about absolute power, ten times out of ten it is the DSG transmission that helps it kick most other cars' asses.
  15. Anyone who calls a Miata "gay" is attempting, in a futile fashion, to suppress fun from their lives. I have yet to drive an MSM, but they look like a good time.
  16. Strong elitism on both sides. Do any of you really care what strangers in different gyms are doing? I guess this is the Internet. http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/duty_calls.png
  17. Yeah, if you join a Crossfit-specific gym, take the advice of the people there with a grain of salt. They tend to practice with an any means necessary approach to completing the weight or task, often throwing form out the window and putting themselves at serious risk of injury. Specifically, I seem to remember seeing newbs under too much weight trying to do things like squats, deadlifts, clean and presses, etc. where bad form means fucking up you spine (Squats and DL), or snapping your wrists (Cleans). Youtube "Crossfit Injury" and then try to understand the proper form and technique for an exercise that you are unsure about.
