  1. Yeah, trips southeast are usually what is required for street fun.
  2. That's awesome! I thought it was a reasonable place to pass at the time.
  3. One time I was out riding in an area I didn't really know and one of the guys at the gas station mentioned that there's a really twisty road really close by that will take me to the same location that I'm going. So, I took his advice and as soon as I got on the road I realized that that guy probably wasn't a sport-bike rider, because the pavement was horrible with chunks missing and gravel everywhere. It was twisty, but not being able to really go very fast meant that it was very boring. I'm looking for twisty yet still 60+, kinda like the Dragon with less cops.
  4. I've had so many close calls with deer that I've lost count. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZAjJ-g0UDw
  5. I'm going to VIR mid august and according to Google Maps there's two routes. One takes I-75 for a couple hundred miles south and then goes east towards VIR. The first route takes about 10 hours according to Google Maps. The second route (which I will most likely take) is shorter and takes less time. I-75 South for about 40 miles 35 E Eventually 35 South about 200 miles I-64 E for a while about 80 miles I-77 South for a bit about 90 miles US-58 E for about 100 miles My question is whether or not I could alter the route slightly to make it more twisty and fast. The weather will be the deciding factor if I drive or ride. I know the roads are nice out that way, so I'd really love to take the bike. Also, I was wondering how bad the cops are along the way? Thank you

Damn it, I forgot about that name being unisex.
  7. Speaking of sheep fucking. I happened to be flipping through channels the other day and Wife Swap was on. Anyhow they were talking about how the 11 year old boy's best friend is a lamb. It seemed a little strange for an almost teenage boy to have a sheep as his best friend. http://abc.go.com/shows/wife-swap/episode-guide
  8. This would be a good way to get rid of any people that interfere with the master plan that are under 43 years old. I'm thinking that the people on the terror watch list will be the first ones. http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2009-03-10-watchlist_N.htm
  9. I love the ones with lots of tastefully done tattoos. I know there was a few awesome pieces on the dancers at the Harem the other night. Yeah, I lock away the ATM/Credit cards in the car/bike or at the hotel that way after a few shots I'm not tempted to just get a few more shots and another dance or two. The best club that I've been to is the Spearmint Rhino in Lexington, Ky. It's on the way down to the Tail, and it's right beside a Days Inn. Oh yeah, these links are probably NWS http://www.myspace.com/spearmintrhinolexington http://www.spearmintrhino.com/index.html I'm sure if you ask a few guys from the area what the best club is in the Columbus area that you will find a good one.
  10. I think it depends on what day/time that you go to a club. Sometimes the tits are average all the way around and the next day it's like everyone got a reduction or implants. I was at Baby Dolls a while back and coincidentally the woman with some of the world's largest tits, Chelsea Charms was there. I think she said they were over 20 pounds each. I fit my entire head in between them! They really look better in person than on the website! It really is mind boggling how large they are. Anyhow that night was awesome! She pranced out on stage and announced that she is having a contest to win posters and other prizes. All you had to do was make a dollar bill into the cup that was held in between her cleavage. I happen to be sitting by the stage, so I got to be the first contestant. I immediately jumped up, crumpled a dollar bill and shot it right in! It was nothing but the bottom of the cup! (That took a lot of focus with all the naked women running around and these giant tits in front of me.) The crowd went wild! The shock on her face that I made it in the first shot, from so far away, was priceless! It was a long shot for a dollar bill, and right after the crowd settled a little, a line started at the front of the stage. I was happy that I got to touch them (multiple times) and I got a poster! You should revisit your local strip club on a Sunday evening, and see if there's any difference.
  11. I saw a stripper the other night that had a pair of bee stings.
  12. Yeah, the lack of mainstream releases is definitely a concern. I like Diana Krall, and I actually use her cds as a demo, when people come over. Hair stands up on my arms everytime I do a demo, because it sounds like she is in the middle of my room. I can't imagine how much better the SACD sounds. Based on the CD -> HDCD improvements I'd say that the soundstage would be huge. I bet instruments would be even more defined and live. I think what I need to get is a Universal Disc player that way I'm not restricted by the different formats. There's a lot of music out there that I'd love to hear on the high resolution formats. Many of my favorite artists don't release anything but regular CDs. I'd love to hear the huge soundstage, loud guitars, spacious vocals fill my room even more than they do now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_jal2IKsEU
  13. I don't remember all the specifics, but I'm pretty sure that there were at least. Upgraded opamps Upgraded clock Vibration reduction foam installed throughout. I'm thinking there were upgraded capacitors also, but I'm not sure. This cd player made my cds come alive, it's quite extraordinary the difference. I will have to find a cheap SACD player to try it out, because I really need to get with the times. If I like the SACD player's CD playback, I might end up selling my CD25. It'll probably be later in the year once it starts getting cold that I will look into upgrading.
  14. I have an extensive standard cd collection, so back in 2005 I acquired a Music Hall CD25. I upgraded this cd player to the max making it around a $1,000 cd player. Some say performance wise it competes with a player costing many thousands more. I'm not sure, but I have not felt like it's lacking in any way. Anyhow, it plays CDs very well and it plays HDCDs also. I have many HDCDs for demos, and I wish all of my cds were HDCDs. I'd like to get a nice SACD player. I need to take my CD25 to some demos and have them swap it with some SACD players. I wish Jolida made a SACD player; that's what I'd like to have. I think it'd be funny to watch the salesman hear my budget cd player sound unusually good relative to their reference player in cd playback. Of course I'm not going to mention all the upgrades.
  15. Here's a Quad electrostatic speaker dealer. http://www.donbetteraudio.com/ I usually go to Audible Elegance which I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Request a Magnepan demo if you want to hear what we are talking about. Magnepans are ribbon/quasi-ribbon/planar magnetic, but the speed and accuracy are very similar to electrostatics. Martin Logans are hybrid electrostatic speakers, so their bass frequencies aren't up to par with their speaker's high frequencies.
  16. I think once sound becomes this clean it loses the character of a speaker and becomes more realistic. Where as people can usually tell the difference between live and recorded, they expect a recorded sound, but hear the live. I think people that are used to live sound wouldn't notice it to be too clean.
  17. Yeah, quality sound is much more important to me. An electrostatic or planar magnetic bass panel with negligible mass creates bass so clean that many people think that something's missing because they're used to the additional "woofer sound." Alternatively, I'd choose something with at least servo control for quality.
  18. The lamborghini won in the braking, but on the track and in the slalom the bike won. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZKRphfVHqI

I don't usually quote Paris, but that's hot!
  20. I think I got a 2:30 at Mid Ohio on my first trackday.
