  1. I think it's fun to try and crack my passwords when I forget them. http://www.lostpassword.com/
  2. Scooter derby would be awesome! The cost of entry would be low, and the destruction would be high, because some aren't made very well.

  4. I agree with what everyone else said about not buying new for first bike. He will most likely drop it! I remember accidentally crashing my first bike one morning. It started to fall over, while I was getting to go in my driveway, and then I just kinda rolled and crashed in my yard by my driveway. Luckily it was an old inexpensive bike, with scratches and such on the sides from previous owners. Just picked it up, knocked off the mud and grass, and rode to work. If it was a new bike I would have been devastated.

  6. I hit a rabbit; I think it was a suicide. That thing bolted across the street, and budump, right over it. I've had many close calls with deer. I hate when they stop and stare at me on the side of the road as I'm sitting there waiting for them to finally bolt away. I just lay on the horn until they are out of sight. One time a deer crossed the road in front of me, and into the ditch and I figured it was staying there, but it decided to bolt at my car once I started to go again. It was killed from the impact. My car hood launched it.
  7. I judge people by their language in the email or phone and decide on the sale details from that. I've cancelled sales (saying it's sold) based on the quality of responses. When I sold my old Magnepans I invited the guy in for a demo.

I just saw him at the California Superbike School a few weeks ago.
  13. Stuff that is fun is usually not logical. What's the point in doing wheelies through town? It's not logical, but it sure is fun.
  14. That almost looks too good to be real. Love, alienpi
  15. Yeah, just hope the rubber band is of good quality.
  16. Shoei RF1000 is the best helmet I've ever owned. It also is the first really aerodynamic helmet that I've owned. When I first got it I was amazed at how the helmet seemed to naturally want to look forward. Also, the helmet not wanting to fly off my head or the shield wanting to pop up at speed is very nice. This helmet really starts showing off once the speeds get above 70 mph.
  17. I'm definitely not for helmet laws. Yes, if I go on trips I wear my track gear, and if I'm going on a short trip I'll wear the helmet, armored jacket, and back protector. There are a few occasions where it's nice to break the rules. There are a few instances I don't wear a helmet, and it, like magley64, usually involves speeds at which I can ride a bicycle. 1. Cruising through the park with the scenery and nature sounds blending with the sweet sound of a v-twin. 2. Riding down the block to fill up the bike before putting it in the garage. 3. Going down the street to pick up a video, lottery ticket, burger; or go to the gym. 4. When riding down the sidewalks.
  18. wow, low miles. glws
  19. I've went with friends to buy bikes and I've been surprised at how often there's just a verbal, if u break it u buy it. I think if I were selling a bike I'd get it in writing.
