The big Cash Days race in Dallas last weekend got interesting real quick. Many of the "fast" guys on Street Outlaws got put on the trailer early in the weekend. Shit got crazy in the finals when the cops showed up. We actually had to alter our story on the bust to help keep other people from getting in more trouble. Word on the street is there's another big cash days being filmed in OKC this weekend...

From what I was told the track won't be ready for us on Friday morning so that's why they called it off. They are going to be rushing to get it done for Saturday from the way it sounds. This is direct from trails and they did not make the choice to cut our day lightly from the way it sounds.

I had a call today with them for the event we're broadcasting and now I see why they are having all the delays, it's for the best reasons possible. -Track is getting resurfaced and fixed where it had bumps and weeping issues. -Bathrooms are getting repaired and upgraded -Staging lane are getting fixed -Pits are getting more pavement and repaired. The new owners are trying to un-fuck the years of neglect the track has been through.

Went Saturday and the "deals" really weren't that good. All the ammo and guns are still at full price.

No, Yaris will stay on as a backup car. I'm not sure if I want to business with this dealership now, they are playing games already. Oh well, it's not like I have to buy a truck right now, I just wanted to try and get some ideas. Lots of people are singing the praises of a 1500 and what they say makes sense, but I'm trying to think long term and cover the IF and I need the extra towing.

Hmmm, starting to lean towards the 2500 just because I would rather have to much truck than not enough in the future. I won't be going diesel because that will take it just a bit to far for what I need.

So I'm kicking around getting a truck for hauling items at times and possibly towing in the future. I would really prefer to keep it GM, I don't need to have 4 wheel drive, $24,000 or less, under 75,000 miles and not a shit pile. Here's where I'm hung up: 1500 or 2500? I've seen some trucks that fall into what I need for both, but the 2500 would be better for towing duty. Those who have owned a 1500 what are your thoughts on it for towing? It seems the 2500 in WT trim would be in my price range and miles needs if I get one of those.

The urgent care doctor actually put me on a small course of them.

Well, that's what the doctor and rad tech called it and they know more than me. We shall see what happens friday after my meeting and MRI. They are limiting my pain pills so I just get to suffer lol

I'm avoiding going under the knife at all costs, period. I hope this doctor I'm seeing Friday can get me on a good PT program and all that fun stuff.

Long story short I was having some trouble with my neck/shoulder that came on all the sudden. Pain got so bad last friday went to urgent care, they thought it was just a muscle issue, sent me home with pain meds and muscle relaxers. Well, those did nothing, pain has gotten worse so i sent back today. They did some xrays and hit me with the fact I have Disc Space Disease between my C5 and C6. Trying to get into an ortho now to get the ball rolling on some type of treatment. What can I do to possibly avoid surgery for those who have or know someone who has experienced this? I know FAR to many people that got their neck/back cut and were never the same...

I have talked about this before and was told I didn't know anything on the subject :dumb: I've talked with company reps that make non-emissions items and they have said the same thing, the EPA is trying to crush the aftermarket industry as a whole, period. Let's be real here, aftermarket cars/racing is such a small percentage of what damages the environment, yet this organization seems to have a hard on for going after it. How does that make any sense at all?

It's all about the record and being the "first" to do it. Fact is that there are fewer and fewer records in drag racing that can be broken anymore so if you can claim one it's a big deal.
