  1. Our Off-road magazine got one of these to play with before they came out and had a blast. Great choice for sure
  2. Here's something to think about that would shut down all these "theories" I have yet to see any confirmation of what direction people were shot from and the slugs pulled from anybody yet. Has this been talked about in the news? Would this information not lay out what happened? To me, how the media spins all these events is entertaining.
  3. That's a six figure car if it's in good shape...
  4. If I was going to build a C3 this is what it would look like. It's a nasty street car that has the perfect stance. Super nice family too, they were just over the moon I wanted to do an article on them and for me, that's what it's all about. http://www.dragzine.com/features/boosted-banana-billy-gruwells-twin-turbo-street-legal-1969-vette/
  5. Why educate yourself when you can just repeat the incorrect information you hear, read and see? I had a friend of mine from NYC wife told me that I should be considered a felon because I own assault rifles and other guns because it's only a matter of time before I kill someone. She was being dead serious too, it was so bad my friend actually sent me a message apologizing for her insanity. As long as you have people like Hillary, Pelosi, and others bumping their gums it will always be a mess.
  6. That's a training issue with the staff.
  7. I ran in the slick prepped lane all day on drag radials with no issue. It is what it is, lesson learned for sure and it won't happen again. The facility is very nice and I plan on going back for sure.
  8. Ok, I get it, we paid money to use the track and what they did was kind of wrong. From what I understand this has been addressed and made known we won't come back if they pull this again, so it has been addressed. Now for the truth bomb. Prepping a track properly for high power cars is a fucking bitch. This track isn't Trails, they actually try to give fast cars a good surface to race on. I have spent enough time at the track to see what street tires do to a good track and it's not pretty. You spin just a little bit on the street tire and it removes all the rubber that was put down like your tire is a belt sander, and it's not easy to put back down right. I guess they spent a lot of time really prepping the track to get it right and I get it, but that doesn't make what they did right, just a bad choice. If they had a rotator it wouldn't be as much of a problem because those can put the rubber back down quickly, but with out the rotator it becomes a problem.
  9. Don't forget turning this into a useless political argument too. I'm not numb to the violence, just the terrible media coverage. I've already started pruning my social media contacts between this and the NFL stuff, just to many stupid people out there. Humans are so violent, always have been, always will be.
  10. The second they used anti-gay words they lost all credibility.
  11. We can talk about this more in 2018 and come up with a plan. I would love to combine my two favorite things, cooking, and racing at one of our events for sure.
  12. Thank you for supporting the event, we appreciate it.
  13. Car went a 10.94 with Scott behind the wheel for the best ET When I ran it, new best 60foot with a 1.53 until it ran out of nitrous at half track, would have been a 10.80 pass for sure. New best MPH with 124.9 but ET was junk when the car got fussy before the 60 foot cone. All in all, it was a great day for sure.
  14. They're Polish so that's all they have, and maybe old Cold War era military shit but it was too heavy...
  15. This thing is just bitching as fuck http://www.dragzine.com/news/video-all-wheel-drive-1968-camaro-runs-sevens-pure-awesomeness/
  16. I'm your huckleberry Wagner hasn't signed up yet because he has been getting throated at work, but will sign up tonight.
  17. I ain't got nothing for you heads up, but I'll try my luck at some point at the track
  18. Since there seems to be a lack of racing in Columbus racing these days, let's get this party started old school. If you want some action at the track day try to set it up here. There will be some mystery outside cars that are going to be there too so that should make things interesting. If you want to set it up with the clocks off we can try to set that up too. In short, if you want to fill your dance card you can start here
  19. Anybody had experience with these shotguns or know anything about them?
  20. With $40,000 to win on the line there is going to be some guys pushing their stuff hard to make the show. Also they have the $5,000 Money Shot bonus where a Pro Mod team can put a $ on their window saying they will not count that pass for qualifying and want it to count for the Money Shot. What happened last year was all the top level teams that were in the show used the saturday night session to try and win the money, so they were swinging for the fences.
  21. Yes sir, going to be some fast cars there for sure. The Saturday night Pro Mod qualifying session is going to be nuts.
  22. Sometimes you have to get dirty for the sake of comedy.
  23. I'll be heading to Norwalk to cover the event for Dragzine on Thursday. The weather looks AMAZING and the cars will be flying for sure. This is pretty much nothing but heads up racing, Pro Mods running the full quarter mile (rare these days), Outlaw 10.5, Radial vs The World, X275, Ultra Street, and Pro Street will all be racing. If you like racing then make the trip to Norwalk to support this event, it's one of the best in the region and the big names are all coming. Last year's coverage: http://www.dragzine.com/race-coverage/2016-shakedown-at-the-summit-coverage-from-norwalk/
