We've covered a few of those, that series is great. Tim really knows his stuff and pisses a ton of people off because he tells the truth. Lot's of people got upset over his video about people wrecking cars because he was right, and the use of the world "window licker" didn't help...

One of the video concepts that I might star in could be kind of wild. I will go over what it takes to start a screw blower type motor (think Pro Mod or Top Alcohol dragster/funny car) and then will actually sit in the drivers set and help start the car. It will be an educational, humor, reaction video all mixed into one. If I can find someone brave/crazy enough I would love to do it with a nitro car...

Between my health issues and taking on this new job I had to put my own racing/crewing on the back burner for 2016. I can tell you that's false. Most of my family work in the education field and there are tons of misconceptions about how things actually work. I won't get more into it because I'm sure the CR "experts" will tell me I'm wrong, but the levy campaigns my mom put together always clearly outlined exactly where the money was going, and they usually passed because of this...

This is more for marketing/promotions stuff in general. I'm looking to really dig deep into this subject and educate myself on the best practices and new trends. I know just enough to be dangerous, but would like to really make a bigger impact on our numbers overall.

My role at work is changing again and I'll be moving into more of a heavier marketing/promotion type deal. For those who also do a lot of marketing/promotion stuff, what are some good industry blogs, websites, or podcasts I should be looking into? I really want to be on the cutting edge with this stuff and want to get good info on what I can learn. Most of what I will be doing is on social media, and content marketing on our websites. Well now my next steps are to find a quality vendor to do some IRA things with I guess. My old 401k was with Fidelity, maybe I'll just work with them t keep this process simple. For what it's worth I HATED finance classes in school. My brain can't math well so the number crunching made me feel like an idiot.
