Good for you, NPR seems to be a great station, but a bit dry for me. During the coverage last night that I had on as background noise while I worked, all the talk was about "work place violence" and I'm pretty sure the idiot in charge even talked about that. So, that is why I think, based on what I heard on the TV, and other areas they were pushing their own narrative.

So I was following this last night and the media/elected idiot narrative does not add up. Listening to the scanner there also seems to be some information missing from all these reports, like the person that was running around at the airport maybe? Using some logic, also this does not seem to be a spur of the moment thing. Dude shows up with bombs, tactical gear, and they were both wearing gopros? Not the typical thing for someone looking to lay out some workplace violence on a whim right? Looking at all of this from a high level it kind of screams terror attack, even though the idiot president won't utter those words (he along with his idiot friends are more worried about talking gun control while the bodies of the dead are still warm). There are just to many strange things going on here to just shrug this off as the idiot in charge did as “work place violence”. I would not give them anything for free, because if you give it to them now, why pay you in the future? That is the biggest issue right now as far as getting paid for photos in the industry, people giving stuff away for exposure. Can you buy a McChicken with a photo credit? Nope. Can you pay your mortgage with "exposure"? Nope. If you have to give them something, limit the amount, make it non-high res, and make it social media sized. I just had magnuson superchargers try to strong arm me for free pictures for their 2016 Calendar. Told them my fee, they all the sudden forgot where the reply button was. Garrett Turbos screwed me last year, won't happen again. The only time I give stuff away is when its required in my contract for Power Automedia, and even then I'm getting paid to take the pictures by PAM.

Those are NHRA classes of racing. Pro Stock is the "factory hot rod" class that the cars usued to be based on production cars. Now they are tube chassis science experiments that take very smart people to make go very fast. Usually running in the 6 second range using a N/A small block. Super Stock is a class that allows for back halfed race cars (think real wheel drive converted front wheel drive cars) to compete in "class" type racing. Cars must have a full interior and are limited to how they can modify certain aspects of the car. Super Stock and Stock are two of the toughest classes in all of drag racing. You have to be one hell of a wheelman, know how to tune the car front to back, and know how to modify the car to fit in the rules and still kick ass.

That's what I try to look for, stuff that is just slightly different, or has lots of owner input. I'm going to try and pitch the car as a feature because its so bad ass. He is putting a cage in it right now so he can run it full tilt at the track. And when I say putting a cage in it, he is tucking it in so tight on the inside you really can't see it except for the x-bars in the back. I'm doing a full feature on the Camaro for dragzine, and I have a twin turbo 67 nova I'm doing one on too. Pro street is one of my favorite styles, even more so now with the modern technology being added. Big ass power with the ability for it to be driven about anywhere.
