  1. Well, add in the contingency money and you can double that. He plans on racing the piss out of that car between the NHRA and NMCA races. I'm really hoping I get tho shoot this car for a feature, the blue is one of he best shades I've ever seen, and the car overall is just hot-sex-express on wheels.
  2. For a daily stay away from the GTO and the G8. It is getting really hard to find some parts, and if you find them the prices are crazy. CTS-V due to overall comfort for a daily. Camaro would be a close second if you have no kids. Newer mustang would also be nice.
  3. I've come to understand this point, and go with things that have the smallest known issues possible. That and never do free R&D on a car for a company, let others do that on the new models :gabe:
  4. Pete was nice enough to let me come over and shoot a video of this car. Ford really hit a home run with this car, and the NMCA's class where these, the COPOs and Drag Pack Mopars running heads up is going to be killer!
  5. 900 hp of V8 screaming fuck your mother :fuckyeah: Those things have like 26 inches of suspension travel when they fully unchained. Short Course and Open Desert racing is just amazing. Watching those guys in the Baja 1000 just run full out, soaking up bumps, jumping shit, and doing bad ass things is killer. If I win the powerball I will get a pre-runner for a daily truck.
  6. Now this is how to use a ski slope to its full potential :fuckyeah: Full 2015 Coverage

    2JZ Vette

I had heard rumors of this car, then it just showed up at this event. I think after he gets this thing dialed in it will hurt some feelings.
  8. Where I can get the best price and service. I try to avoid some places that have good "deals" becuase their service sucks, they don't get back to me, or that "deal" is just click bait to get me in the door and then changes.
  9. Rally drivers are next level crazy. Its one thing to go really fast kind of under control, these guys just haul ass and let it rip.
  10. I fucking hate being poor. Amazing car, if you toss this up on crazylist please post link so we can share.
  11. Well, I've already started the process of building my "official" skillset more. I know that if I keep working away at this, I'll get my break. I encourage others who are having a hard time with anything in life to never give up and never back down, something good will happen, it just takes time.
  12. Pretty much the best summary possible. No pics yet, it has sat in my garage for a while (long story) but now am going to get it ready for 2016 duty.
  13. Doodlebug type thing, its kind of janky but will do the trick for me.
  14. Can't wait to see Jef let this thing eat, it sounds amazing when he lays into it. http://www.dragzine.com/features/car-features/beautiful-beast-jef-ferns-twin-turbo-1970-camaro/
  15. Thanks That's what I was thinking, I just was not sure if there was a switch that had the basic connector on it already.
  16. So I need to put a kill switch on project: "Pit Bike Of Poor Choices", is there a place local that sells something I can hillbilly-engineer to work? It can be just a simple toggle type on off switch, I need something better than the current system of grounding a bare connecter to something metal
  17. I've seen a few videos of this car, freaking love it. Gives the bike the hit, rips its head off, bike gives him the hit and gets scalped :fuckyeah:
  18. I'll shoot you a PM with my insight in this field, I've been in the legal services industry for 10 years
  19. Damn, someone is going HAM on that build. All Pro's are no joke.
  20. Seems legit http://bangshift.com/bangshift1320/this-actually-happened-watch-a-guy-ride-on-top-of-a-dragster-for-a-quarter-mile-pass/
  21. I'm not even worried about just marketing jobs, this happend to be one I applied for and was a very close fit. My focus is more on Account/Relationship management, service, sales, and things close to that. The current job I have I do all of these things, but not one of them as a concentration. I'm pretty much the swiss army knife that does customer facing work, helps in the sales process, produces sales leads, fixes things for cusotmers, and all tasks given.
  22. Yes, you are actually on my list of people to talk to
  23. No way in hell we would have lived in Hudson, I was looking at places in BFE around my parrents home in Rootstown. Frustrating is not even the word to describe it, but the only course of action is to press on and not give up. Those who do have good jobs that pay well should be very thankful they were able to get there, its hard for some of us. I've been told by a few people this will be difficult because of how most places do their hiring now, and that resume is not "pretty" with direct skills. If life was easy everybody would be good at it right? I'm going to start adding some other media services to what I already do. I think I see a way to make some extra cash, help small businesses, and gain those skills while having fun and playing race car this year
