  1. Last time I checked travel agencies have to follow laws and rules, so of the government and CDC locked things down, that would solve this problem. Its a lot like playing fort when you were a kid, you don't want certain people to come into your fort, you lock the door and blast whoever tries to get in with a NERF gun.
  2. Its not the Ebola that will be the biggest problem, the civil unrest and panic that could happen will be the issue. I'm sure our super smart elected officials will stay in front of this. Locking down the borders to anybody who has been around the places infected would not be any fun now would it? Elect stupid people, get stupid outcomes...

  4. He got a little crazy when John Sears said something about a weight break.
  5. No, there are some restructuring type things going on. The plan is to try and open in 2015 if able.
  6. I will have news on some potential CR events at GP Karting soon...
  7. That's what happens when local government has a grudge against a local racing venue...
  8. Sounds like good turbo weather Today looks bad, hopefully we get one round of qualifying nine today. Ray decided to make a full quarter mile pass yesterday and went 7.26@ over 190. Not bad for a little 409 cubic inch 5.3 block wearing an 88mm turbo :gabe:
  9. http://summitmotorsportspark.com/component/jevents/icalrepeat.detail/2014/10/05/229/-/-?Itemid=1 Pits are already filling up with the baddest cars in the country :fuckyeah: Come on out and say hi to Koolrayz and the rest of us in the ERL Performance pit

  12. I won't be back for a while, got The Shakedown next weekend, then the NMCA World Finals the following. Its a good problem to have over the next two weeks spending more time at the race track than at home :fuckyeah:

  14. I don't understand why people have a hard time complying when an officer asks you to do something. Even if you are doing nothing wrong, what is so hard about it. I have been in the wrong place at the wrong time in my younger days, not doing anything wrong and had cops get very nasty with me. Some on the internet might even call them "dick cops" or on a "power trip", but they were doing their job. I stayed calm, did as I was told and after I was cleared I got an apology each time from these cops who were on edge due to the situation, was sent on my way, and even got a ride home one time. Unless you have a job where at any given moment one of your customers might kill you it would be best not to judge. Some cops suck, most are doing a job that the majority of Columbus Racing could never do or want to do on many levels.
  15. Oh I was just talking about what they have in the roller, not the rest of that monster. Your number is about right give or take. Need those bars in Outlaw 10.5/Radial vs The world for the power they are putting them down.
  16. Its money, tuning, and tech along with the perfect weather/track conditions. That is a radial tire track right now that will rip the bottoms off your shoes it has so much teeth. Oh, and add at least a 1 to the front of the car cost there, maybe more. To run a car on radials that quick you have to have epic sized balls and want to go ricky bobby fast.
  17. I'm guessing this is the first of many records that will fall this weekend at SGMP. That is almost as much MPH as a NHRA Pro Stock car makes in the full quarter mile...
  18. Huh, guess all those magical dirt track racer experts on the interwebz were wrong.... http://motorsportstalk.nbcsports.com/2014/09/24/in-strange-twist-grand-jury-decision-shows-intent-of-a-different-kind-in-tony-stewart-kevin-ward-jr-tragedy/?ocid=Yahoo&partner=ya5nbcs
  19. I agree with this statement. I see these types of threads on all kinds of car sites and it turns into the same pissing match. My personal experience with buying was going out shooting a bunch of stuff that people told me about, then buying the one I liked best.
  20. Yeah, trying to pick out a few to write about was not easy. Between finding something that fit the bill and then getting lucky to catch the owner plus the car being in a good spot to shoot was crazy. It was a good learning experience doing the event coverage and how to do things better in the future.
  21. So I watched a little football this weekend after the rain out, and it reminded me how bias the coverage is and why I don't follow it anymore. Indiana beats a team that was in last year's SEC title game and in the recaps they just glide right over it. The way the games I watched were called its really painful to listen to how they want to steer things, at least that's how it seemed to me. Now, the only thing that did make me smile was Michigan. Oh...my....LOL.... That team is terrible and their fans are even more funny. All the sudden they go from talking a bunch a crap and now have hit the "I don't want to hear about it or I will delete you phase" Almost as bad as the 2%er Ohio State fans Then there is this http://www.sbnation.com/2014/9/22/6831037/michigan-will-give-you-2-free-tickets-for-2-cokes
  22. Little late, but that's what happens when people won't send you information.... http://www.streetlegaltv.com/event-coverage/car-shows/top-nine-picks-hot-cars-2014-goodguys-ppg-nationals/
