  1. So if your going 10+ mph over the speedlimit and slow down(which is the cops intent usually, especially on the highway) he probably isn't going to give 2 shits are you going to turn around and demand a ticket? lol, cops have more important things to worry about than some harmless person doing a little speeding or whatever the case may be, especially in high crime areas(guessing he wasn't in a high crime area, but still...)

Why are you still here? Nothing you say is ever relevant.

  2. I know what defense attorneys do police training involves so yeah..

An officers job isn't to write tickets, it's to keep the public safe (in a nutshell) and it's their discretion if they want to write a ticket, it is not mandatory nor a quota. If and officer feels someone deserves a ticket for whatever reason then that's how it is. A repeat offender is likely going to get a ticket versus someone who has a clean record..Now that doesn't mean you couldn't fight it since you can go to court for pretty much any reason, but it doesn't mean you'll win.

"police training involves so yeah..". What are you saying here? Proof that the cop let someone else off for a more dangerous offense is a pretty good argument.

  3. An officer isn't expected to ticket people, just uphold the law and it's their choice what they want to do with a traffic stop. The cop could easily say that Scruit had a clean record, was courteous, and didn't seem to be a threat so he felt that in his situation it would be enough to give him a warning. As for the video, you don't know the officers name so how could you prove who it was if you were to get pulled over? Even if you did know his name and got a ticket, he doesn't really have to explain his actions, every traffic stop is different (such as safety for the officer, what kind of ticket, traffic around you, etc.) so he could say that during that time he felt a ticket was appropriate and there isn't much you could do about it. And if someone pulls the race card in court the judge will have evidence of what happened and likely throw that argument out the window since you have no evidence that he was racist. You may not like it but that's the way it is.

And posting the video up can't incriminate either party so who cares?

Apparently you haven't dealt with many defense attorneys. How can the cop say it was ok to not ticket him at over 25mph over the speed limit but someone else going less over the speed limit should have a ticket?

In a time where budgets are at a low and people are feeling their tax dollars are being wasted people feel cops should be doing their job aka writing tickets.

  4. I've seen first hand the amount of beer some of these Harley guys will suck down at the bar outside, then hop right on the bike and ride straight past county sheriffs and CPD. I'm surprised something like this didn't happen sooner. I'm willing to bet money he was over the limit.

And on a bike with a truck engine not a good combo.

  5. So nobody should ever talk about the police doing good things because it could be used as evidence against them by people accusing them of doing bad things?

Talking about it and showing proof of him not doing what is expected of him on a public forum are two different things. If you had a friend who worked at say a restaurant who gave you a huge discount just because. Letting the owner know may not be in your friends best interest. Now let's say I get a ticket from the same cop for 25 or less. I go to court with your video. I claim I thought it was ok because he politely let you go. How's he going to justify that to the court? Now say I'm of a different race and I claim the reason he ticketed me was due to my race. What argument would he have to prove otherwise?

  6. How am I going to incriminate the officer? He did nothing wrong. if the local prosecutor wants to pull the video and track me down and file a speeding ticket against em then so be it. I'm not losing any sleep over that possibility.

Heck, if I GOT the ticket I still wouldn't be mad. I certainly deserved one.

It could get him for negligence. What happens when someone gets a ticket for +5 from the same officer and finds this video. It shows up in court and they claim he is discriminating against whatever race gender religion age they are.

  7. I agree. Night riding sucks. I have done it maybe 5x in the past 9 riding seasons.

I enjoy night riding especially out here where its triple digit temps. During the day and 60 at night. I ride a little more cautious at night due to the abundance of animals. I'm not quite sure how hitting a coiled up 6' rattlesnake will go but I don't wanna find out. I'm just saying riding at night isn't for everyone.

  8. I just took the MSF course and the instructors told us the brighter the better. We want to be seen. I ride with my brights on, why? Because they told me I can ;) they gave the example of holding up four fingers, that'd be a car, now remove three, that lonely finger is you. ;)

That is dumb and if its actually in the material I've lost faith in the course. Having your brights on at night makes you no more visible then regular head lights when there's oncoming traffic. All its going to do is blind them and piss them off. But if you want old people, drunks and road raging assholes swerving at you keep it up. I don't even follow cars with my brights on it creates an un-safe distraction. If no ones around by all means use the brights but there's a reason the bikes were equipped with a switch to control them. If the bikes were supposed to have the brights on all the time they wouldn't have the switch. It makes all bikers look like dicks when people ride around with their brights on. If you can't see good enough or don't feel safe without running brights you probably shouldn't ride at night. Being on a bike doesn't give any free pass to be a jerk.

  9. If your blinding oncoming traffic and they end up going onto the shoulder then over correcting and swerving into you you will probably regret having the super bright lights. Or if you get behind the wrong crazy mofo that snaps because they are blinded by the lights. Your bike isn't that safe of a vehicle to get caught up in a road rage incident. Maybe just stop riding at night.

  10. Ill prolly end up doing that if I don't get any takers. Figured I'd see if a professional was interested because lets face it..... who wants a drunk naked midget doing electrical work

You should video it and do it while standing in the hottub. You'll become the coolest guy on the internet.

  12. Ehh my son woulda won so not to worried by this. Lol. J/K

Although these kids are way to young for this I do believe that kids throwing down in school is better than the bull crap idea of having them take getting bullied to the breaking point. There is a time to fight and I'm going to make sure my son knows that I won't be mad at him for fighting as long as he didn't start it. As far as I'm concerned its ok to fight if the kids being picked on, to stand up for another kid that's being picked on especially if the kid being stood up for is at a disadvantage (mental issues or physically smaller for example), if someone steals from the kid. I will be fine with my son fighting as long as he knows not to take it too far and its over when its over.

But as far as this story goes that's f'ed up. The parents of these children should be able to vote on a person for each of the teachers to be forced to fight. I'd vote rampage Jackson or forest griffin. It'd be great to see them beat the crap outta those teachers where the rules are the same "no pinching or biting" lol.

  13. Ok she's a porn star that's not making enough money to pay a speeding ticket? I think there's a word for that I believe its called a slut. Then at the end she says something along the lines of "its my 7th one". How many tickets she's gotten out of? I also wonder if she is trying to get pulled over on purpose?

That trooper really is a dumbass. Nothing like going to prison as a former Leo and sex offender.
