  1. I never cease to be amazed at the lengths to which some people will go to avoid accepting the truth and to villify those trying to enlighten them. And I have never posted to any online forum that had a shortage of trolls proudly displaying their ignorance as if it were a badge of merit.

Go somewhere else with your bullshit. Obviously no one here cares what you say your wasting your time. Your as bad as one of the mall ninjas on a gun forum. Get a real job that actually contributes to society if you really care about this country instead of swinging from some political groups nuts.

  2. Speed bleeders wouldnt have done shit, finally figured it out. I had to remove the banjo bolt from the master cylinder add some oil in it and then squeeze the lever til the oil was just at the edge tuen put the bolt on. After the bolt was on somewhat i lightly sqeezed the excess air out of it and torqued i the bolt down. After i did this i had pressure again and a crap ton of air came out when i bled the clutch line. Thanks for the help guys

Sounds like the mighty vac woulda have helped to me. Just as long as you don't use too much pressure too fast.

  3. He's my hero that's who he is. Lol Wtf is nothing sacred. The OP shoulda done some research and seen how much the place is geared towards HD riders. That's who he's talking to right? There are only a select few HD guys with skin thick enough to stick around here. He shoulda tried to relate to us by saying he rode a track bike or scooter or was in to being drunk or guns hell any damn thing but an HD sympathizer. I'm not a 1%er I'm 69er.

Ok end of my BS meaningless contribution to this trolling thread.

  4. I just sampled some home made "moonshine" recently myself. From what I understand it is Bacardi 151 based. He called it Apple Pie. You boil cinnamon sticks, apple cider, sugar, and apple juice then mix it with the Bacardi and chill it. It tasted amazing and crept up on you like a hero.

Nothing like the real thing. You need to get ahold of a quart of legit Tennessee shine and you guys will understand.

  5. Becareful I got a hell of a deal on a suzuki intruder once because it was having "clutch issues". Basically the guy had it serviced at a dealership and it sat while he was trying to sell it. He went to ride it one day and there was no pressure in the clutch lever. He just wanted it gone so he could deck out his night train and sold it to me cheap. I got it home tried to bleed the lines and it worked. Came out the next day no pressure. I got super pissed eventually and took it to a local shop. The guy looked it over determined the issue was with the slave cylinder and ordered the new one. When he went to install the new slave cylinder he noticed the gasket was all messed up. He called and asked me how I bled it and told him the pump the lever and turn the nut method. He told me the issue was someone used a vacuum bleeder on the bike and had sucked the gasket into the slave cylinder allowing a small air leak in. This happened at the dealer because they were the only other ones to touch the bike.

  6. One of my favorites in the area was Wahya or wayha road. It's a little rough and narrow but almost no traffic and a lot of nice tight corners. There's a road that runs off of it I think its forest road 711 that looked like a blast but it'd take a dual sport to ride.

  7. who determines what is safe and what should be illegal?

if it is able to bite, it should be illegal? i love how everyone on this forum will argue against breed specific dog bans, but when it comes to another animal that has been proven to be non-aggressive, its a different story and should be killed and banned

hey bdb - how many people has your killing machine python bitten and or killed?

also - that 45k number included all snake bites, even wild snakes.....i dont know for sure how many dogs are in the us or how many snakes are in the US, but 45k to 800k is a BIG gap.

and comparing a common pet you can buy in any pet store or reptile expo (which are held monthly in columbus) to a lion, tiger, or bear - doesnt even make sense

logic like this is the exact reason pit bulls were ever banned in the first place....ignorance and prejudice

why do we need more legislation telling people what they can and cannot have? idk about you, but i dont know anyone who was injured by a snake that escaped its enclosure and was out roaming the streets.....thats more than i can say for other common pets

snakes arent your thing? i get it. thats how i feel about cats and parrots and horses etc.....but to ban them because youre afraid of them? really?

I never said they should be banned I was just pointing out that there are more dog bites per year than snake bites due to people being in contact dogs more than snakes (even wild ones). Comparing the snakes to dogs is the same as comparing dogs to the exotics.

  8. you could say the same thing about dogs....theres more dog attacks than snake attacks per year

a pit bull could kill a child as easily as a snake could, yet people on here rave about how sweet and awesome and lovey their pit bulls are......i dont see any difference....just because an animal "can" do something, doesnt mean it will....snakes are not aggressive, they are very docile and lazy animals....most snake bites occur from improper handling and a defensive snake (waking it up suddenly and startling it, feeding it by hand and having it miss and strike you, etc).....a good handler will have a secure enclosure, and only have the snake out when its in the mood to be out, and when it can be closely watched....thats why padlocks are important, to keep kids and unfamiliar faces away from the snake without proper supervision

i can think of more than a few dogs who i would not want to be locked in a room with without their owners around

statistically, there are 45k snake bites per year that require medical attention - and there are 800k dog bites that require medical attention......maybe dogs should be illegal to own

especially those killing machine bully breeds!......notice the sarcasm there

I think there are more dog bites per year because there are more dogs around. I bet people get bit by dogs way more than lions tigers and bears also. That doesn't make them any safer to own.

  9. My dad tought me how to ride 2up, he hopped on the back of my 77 750, and every turn he would flop back and forth as hard as he could... I could feel the bike trying to move, but I found I was able to compensate for the motion with the handlebars and easily stayed in my lane...

It's nice if the passenger cooperates, but even if they don't, that is no reason to crash.[/quote

I doubt he was doing it as hard as he could unless he is significantly smaller than you. If your going to ride the bike 2 up like a sport bike the passenger needs to lean with you. If you want to ride like your driving a water truck the passenger can do what they want.

  10. I gotta say, if you're riding as conservatively as you should, and you really understand countersteering like you should, it might surprise you a little if they lean the wrong way, but you as the operator should have no problem at all compensating for that...

if a new passenger causes an accident by leaning the wrong way, you were riding way too fast, or you had no idea how to countersteer properly...

The big way a passenger can screw up a turn is to move around and catch you off guard. Such as they lean the wrong way going into a turn and fight your leaning then they realize the should lean with you and do so mid turn creates a pucker factor. To prevent that you have to make sure they know how to lean such as stated above or keep your helmet lined up with mine. If you like to ride a little more spirited this is a must. When I get a new passenger I make sure they are wearing gear helmet jacket gloves and boots. At a minimum for a short ride helmet and boots. I tell them they need to lean with me and not fight it keeping their helmet lined up with mine. I tell them that if they need to to hold tight onto me like a hug. If they are moving around too much I'm going to grab their left arm and pull it so they know to lean in tight and hold on. Then I go and ride and build up from taking it easy to almost how I normally ride.
