  1. I wouldn't believe a soul that said they comfortably enjoyed a 16 hour straight ride on the back of a sportbike haha

My wife has done several all day trips on the back of various bikes with me. Nothing was "comfortable but we did a ride that we had done several times on my 1000rr on a Harley street glide. It was awesome at first with the radio and cruise control but about halfway through the ride my lower back started hurting. By the end we were both in pain and felt worse then when we had done the ride on the 1000rr. Long rides are do able on a sportbike its all about riding position. The most comfortable we have been on a long ride was on my friends sport touring yamaha 600 (I'm drawing a blank on the name but I wanna say fz6) . We rode that all around the tail of the dragon area all day for several days. My suggestion would be a sport tourer over an ass slug (cruiser).

  2. IM going to disagree on that wendys service, every time I go there I always have to beg for napkins and a straw. And they always some how manage to mess up my order.

Is it because your not ordering in Spanish?

  3. Have you guys seen the wendys comercial where the guy is sitting in a lawn chair at a yard sale? The one where the new wendys girl walks up and says "thats soo you. Imagine this feet up game on face deep in a baconator"? Man would I like to go face deep in her baconator. Lol.

  4. If I'm turning left I press the left grip forward for proper counter steering. In order to read more on this check out your buddy exarch crash thread. As stated above ride with one hand and slightly press the grips you'll figure it out. The way you have the answers worded is confusing.

  5. Its not unusual for a tag to come back as stolen. Often it is a trailer or motorcycle that's stolen but the system advises "stolen" because the VINs are similar.

So having your registration that matches your I'd and the tag may help calm the situation.

  6. Doesn't the registration say to carry it in the vehicle at all times? If the cop reads the plate wrong (happens a lot) and it comes back stolen, he's probably going stop you without re-checking it. If he's all eager beaver over arresting you having your registration readily available may save you time and keep you outta cuffs.

  7. Hey guys,

I work with an Electric Motorcycle Team at Ohio State. We are beginning design of our next machine and have commited ourselves to using a CBR1000RR frame. 06-07 frame is what we are shooting for first, but other years will work as well.

We are trying to get a hold of a CAD or 3D model of the bike/frame in order to begin initial designs. Anyone have a source or a model that they would like to donate/share with the team? Another option is borrowing a chassis that someone is not currently using and model with it for a few weeks and then return it unaltered. Any takers on this?

We are also working with Honda in Marysville on this, but right now we don't have the right contacts (as they don't have a motorsports division there). And there may be a lot of red tape and such to jump through to get the model without waiting months.

    Thanks

    Kyle

Don't you guys still have a good relationship with TRC in Marysville. There should be someone there that can help hooking you up with the Honda guys overseas.

  8. What the hell happened to Rossi? He bit it bigtime before the cork screw but never showed why.

We were at the bar and had no sound, so if they said why he went down, I'd really like to know. From watching, he bit it like a Harley rider encountering a turn!

He didn't highside. They showed the wreck during the end credits when they were signing off. It looked like too much front brake and the front washed out from under him.
