They had the H2R but not the H2. The Ducati reps told us the 1299 and the new multistrada would be at the next show. The R1 and R1M were there and they look amazing in person. The seating position was pretty aggressive on the R1 (couldn't sit on the M) similar to my friends 1199. But that gauge cluster was awesome. It looked like a very high definition smart phone. It looked better than the display on my Samsung Galaxy S5. It looked like it had a graph similar to my corvette for displaying G's and another that had something to do with brakes. They were both small bikes when you get close to them. They look awesome in person. The R1M had a lot of electronic gizmos which is why they claim it to be heavier. That exhaust is huge it'll be a big weight drop.

I'm planning on getting a new high end bike this year. I'm going to the Phoenix motorcycle show tomorrow to compare these new badass bikes. As of right now it's looking like the panigale 1299s is what im going to go for followed by the H2, R1M and then the RSV4. I'll let you know what I think of the R1M of they have it on display at the show.

It's funny you mention that awhile back a friend of mine and I were discussing the upcoming H2 release. When i told him the rumored price for the H2 was around $30k. My friend who had been looking at adding a Harley to his garage said that's a lot for a bike. I pointed out that was similar to the price he is looking at paying for the Harleys he wants. He said "Yeah but look how much more you get for your money". Then we got into a debate on what's important on a bike (performance vs. Comfort). He'd rather pay big bucks to have a two wheeled car with a trunk and cruise control and i'd rather pay big bucks for a two wheeled rocket.

Looks cool but hopefully it has a badass midrange. The power numbers on it are similar to the 2011 zx10r.
-
If it stays around that price range in going to try to get one. But I'm worried that all the electronic upgrades are going to bump the price significantly.

I'm pretty excited about the s model. I was planning on getting the Kawasaki H2 but at around 550lbs that's too hefty for my liking. Especially since the panigale is making more hp and torque. I'm just waiting to see what the price is going to be.

Arroyo Seco in New Mexico. It's a pretty small track. I was also on a 2012 zx10r. You have to keep it over 6k rpm to have any drive out of the corner. Plus I'm not an expert rider so I was at pretty low speed through some corners. They have a corner there called the bus stop. When running counter clockwise you come around a right hand sweeper with a decreasing radius into a tight right immediately followed by a tight left. I was going thru there about 40 mph. Second worked but didn't pull to well. Then heading into the straight it was better to be in first to get a good drive down the straight. Then coming off the start finish straight I'd drop down to 1 again.

I went and did a track day yesterday after reading this thread. So I was playing around with the factory slipper clutch on my 2012 zx10r. 5>4>3>2 I never had any wheel hop. But 2>1 was pretty inconsistent. It seemed if I was going kind of slower it would lock up but if I didn't from a higher speed it would free spin to match. It's definitely a confidence boost not having to stress about getting the blip just right.

Move somewhere warm enough to keep riding it. I just got to do a private track day at Arroyo Seco motor plex yesterday. It was a good time 3 of us were on bikes and 1 guy was there with a shifter cart. 78 degrees and sunny. I got to ride the shifter cart for a bit. It was a pretty fun. It felt pretty sketchy with no suspension though.

Scientific proof isn't enough in this matter. Like many in this thread have said cops are just a bunch of racist murdering lying Aholes. (Sarcasm). So what do the people who were so sure the cop was lying have to say? Was the entire investigation and autopsy a fabricated lie by the government?

Thanks that price is pretty awesome.

What's the price? Looks expensive. How much is the water bladder?

Are you married, single, boyfriend or girlfriend attached? If you are attached to someone the two of you have to talk about it and not just focus on the positive aspects. Make sure to talk about the negative stuff you can think of. If you two disagree about the change you have to think if it's worth leaving the other behind or if its better to stay in Ohio. If your single and don't have many friends or family near by are you willing to leave all of your support group behind? If you are the type of person that has trouble making friends that's something to consider. If you don't have a group of people in the area to lean on little crap becomes a bigger pain in the ass than you'd expect. Like buying a new car, fridge, couch and trying to figure out the best way to get it into your new pad without an extra set of hands. Or learning which areas are good to live in and what areas to avoid even when going out. When I moved to AZ one of my supervisors tried really hard to convince the other new hires and myself to live in the same area as him and our new job. He basically told is if we didn't live in town we wouldn't make it through training since it was such a stressful time working long hours the commute from the other towns near by would be too long. Well the town is a crappy place and only 1 of the 4 of us that got hired at the same time still live there. I don't know what reason he had for trying to convince everyone to stay there was maybe he was trying to make the neighborhood better by having trust worthy people move in. But the point is you need a person that you can trust to lead you to the right area. Also if you have kids or plan on having kids their grandparents are going to want to see them a lot. I post an annoying amount of pictures of my son on Facebook just so I don't have to send the pics to every family member. Friends without kids don't really understand. Also I spend $3000-$6000 a year in airfare and most of my vacation time flying back and forth from Ohio just to see friends and family. Also I recommend having about $1000 per person you are with out there set aside in case there is an emergency back home and you need to buy a plane ticket for the first flight to Ohio you can find.

A little over 3 years ago I moved for a great job opportunity to Arizona. Cost of living isn't bad here. I don't know about cali but customer service is pretty much non existent here. I hate cookie cutter neighborhoods and prefer to live out in the country. Which makes commutes suck. I work outside you get used to the heat but it still sucks. The parts that suck the most are being away from family+friends. The schools kind of suck if you have kids. The culture differences here suck causing people to be very rude to everyone. The snow birds are annoying and there are a ton of tweakers running around. I plan on moving back to the Ohio area once my son is in middle school. I'd like to retire in the NC TN area. Here is nice for now but not where I want to spend the rest of my life.

Welp, I'm never leaving my helmet on the bike again...

Looks like it's on a scooter. Probably deserved it. -
It takes a special kind of stupid to shoot at someone and not expect them to shoot back. It takes a super kind of stupid to think that someone who is being shot at shouldn't be able to shoot back regardless of race or job title. Maybe people should stop f**king with the police. Actually people should stop f**king around with anybody else. If you don't like the police don't break the law and convince everyone else to do the same and there will be no need for them.

Here's some information from Brock Davidson. There will be street-legal as well as race-only versions. There will not be a production limit; however, as with any made-to-order machine, natural limitations may occur. No pricing has been set on either version, although the 'made to order' Ducati Desmosedici did come up in a conversation about the street version. The bikes will be available for order through Kawasaki dealers - See more at: http://www.dragbike.com/dbnews/templates/fast1320_z2.aspx?articleid=32766&zoneid=2#sthash.BdkxODtj.dpuf

I'm about to put my c6 corvette up for sale. That way of my dealer gets a street model in I'm ready to scoop it up.

Not that I've seen yet.

Street version will be released in November. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format=go&jsonp=vglnk_14120730082758&key=d49f4f334f0937daf6ad4a0bc20f373c&libId=d7538b4f-a212-4517-bc96-22d883646b51&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fzx-10r.net%2Fforum%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D245602%26page%3D95&v=1&out=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bikeland.org%2Fstory.php%3FstoryID%3D76856&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fzx-10r.net%2Fforum%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D245602%26page%3D96&title=Ninja%20H2%20%22Build%20Beyond%20Belief%22%20unveiling%20on%2030%20Sep%20-%20Page%2095%20-%20Kawasaki%20ZX-10R.net&txt=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bikeland.org%2Fstory.php%3FstoryID%3D76856

I'm trying to figure out what is going on with the sprocket. It looks like there is a lot of extra stuff on there. Like the black thing in front of the sprocket. What is that?

The new teaser video is up on the ninja-h2.com site. It shows a lot of carbon fiber "wings or spoilers" (I know there is a better name for them but can't remember it right now). On a side note a guy on the zx10r forum claims to know the guy that was seen rising the h2 in the earlier video. He says the guy told him it was a 1000cc supercharged bike and they are releasing 2 versions a race model without lights and signals and a street version. Apparently they are filming some sort of commercial for the h2 right now. I'm hoping that means it will be mass produced and the statements Rickey Gadson made were only for the race model.

My thoughts also. Sounds like he may have known more than he let on about fast and furious. Leaving the government leads me to believe he knows the government isn't going to back him.

Kawasaki Heavy Industries is massive and bikes are a very small portion of what they do. I saw a pic of a 12 cylinder boat engine that was about 30-40 feet tall. Among other cool stuff. But I don't see the point of making an awesome bike and making it near impossible for normal customers to purchase.
