Call ahead and make sure Forrest or one of the guys will be there. Sometimes they are traveling during the week and sometimes they are closed door to get stuff shipped. Forrest is a great guy to deal with and there are a lot of goodies to choose from. When I was down there he had a couple of race bikes there that were totally kick butt. I may be in to a trip back down if you don't find anyone.

I bet the port-a-pots in the area were full a few minutes after that crash was cleared.

That was funny but....

The cyclist's family is totally beside themselves as his brother was killed a few years ago when a woman pulled in front of him as he crested a rise in the road. Prayers sent. ><>

WOW, that sucks. What a way to loose a bike, or anything else for that matter. Wonder if it would be possible for the police to get prints off the fake ID card?

I gave two of them to a local EMT-B class for training. If a rider is down we were told to leave the helmet on and only remove it if the airway was compromised. I brought in an old full face helmet to show the instructor how easy a good set of EMT shears would remove the chin bar and the brain bucket could be left on. I have dropped off two full face helmets since then for others to train with. A local Honda shop had some that they stuffed a heavy aluminum foil pie pan into and wired in a light bulb so they could be used as hanging lights over their counter. Those were kind of neat.

Sorry for your loss and I know first hand these close losses are hard but please remember that there is no relief in the bottle of a bottle. Sometimes the bottle of the bottle only has more grief. Take care of yourself and hang in there.

How many bikes were there, I heard there are really low turn outs for the bikes.

So did anyone go to the show, how was it ?

Kind of wish I would have braved up to ask the bro-in-law to take a ride on his F 650 GS last year. He rode from Denver to Coshocton with one stop over for sleep. I know it is not a huge trip for some but I never would have thought to do it on a 650 dual sport.

I just put a set on a KZ 900 last week, I think they will work fine. I couldn't find these with the velcro style fasteners so I used the slip ons since the forks were off for a seal change.

I'd sure like to put it in my driveway but the funds just aren't there.

Rode a wheelie past a cop trying to enjoy his lunch and about ten witnesses. Said cop wrote me for hot rodding and said he hated to do it because that sure was a pretty wheelie, he said that bike was straight in the air but there were too many witnesses to let me off. Ticket says defendant did accelerate rapidly causing front wheel to leave road surface. My fine was something like 70 bucks, I posted bond so I wouldn't have to go to court.

Whats to practice, just rev her till she screams "please" then throw the clutch and hang on.
