  1. I didn't think you could make it better looking but damn, you went and did it. I like the way the red and black wheels offset the bike, great job.
  2. Does anyone need a work bench to work on kids size bikes? I have this bench that I used to work on 50-80cc bikes and with the legs on it it stands about 27" tall. I sat on a shortened bar stool and the bike practically sit in my lap so no more standing on my head to work on the minis. I have some orange Thor kids riding gear and boots in this thread for sale for best reasonable offer, http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=55949 I also have a gear dryer that I built, it is a cabinet that is 13" deep at the top 18" deep at the bottom 48" tall 36" wide There is a shelf for helmets, gloves or whatever and jerseys and pants can hang from it there is a shelf on the bottom so water can run off and under your boots or whatever. When my kids were done riding I sprayed the mud off their gear and hung it in the cabinet, there is a blower on top that keep air moving thru the box and blow dries the gear without heat, 2-3 hours and its dry. Sorry I don't have a pic of the dryer.
  3. I just called them about the tickets and they are selling 100.
  4. A friend of mine had me drive his goods over to Garner's several years ago in my truck, probably had 60 guns and a bunch of ammo and accessories and we didn't make a dent in the amount of guns that were there that time. It was my first and a weird auction, the expensive stuff sold fairly cheap and the beater rifles sold for 20-25 dollars over new.
  5. I heard that about money being tight, kid needs braces and the extra work isn't going to be cheap.
  6. They are a niche gun for sure but what I was thinking was that if the winner didn't want them I'm sure that a person into that type of handgun would probably jump at the chance to buy one or both for maybe $500-550 each, I would think that a standard Vaquero would bring that new. I'm going to take a chance, what the heck, a Christmas present for each kid for $20. jporter12, what kind of handgun are you looking for?
  7. I'll have to check and post it, I never thought to ask that when I was there.
  8. I looked around the net a little bit and seen them listed anywhere from $725-850 with a suggested retail of $989. Even if they sold for $500 each a $20 investment wouldn't be a bad turnover.
  9. I just thought I would let everyone know that I ran across a raffle on two Ruger Vaquero Emiliano Zapata limited edition .45 LC revolvers. I figured that $20 bucks for 2 pistols would be worth a chance, even if you aren't into single action they would make good trading stock. Take a ride on your bike and check them out, they are at; Navarone Sports Guns and Ammo 806 E. State St. Newcomerstown, Ohio 43832 Hours- Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 10-6 Wed, Sat 10-4 Closed Sun Hope I'm not breaking any rules here but I thought it would be a deal for the gun guys here to check out. Here is a cell phone pic of one of the revolvers.
  10. I was on 36 one night when a set of headlights turned into two sets, a semi was passing another semi. When they went by they were pretty much side by side and I was on the berm. I try to have an eye out for everyone since I was parked on by a 4x4 Chevy.
  11. I'd say she is going to look pretty good when your done.
  12. A friend of mine was in a temporary house and wanted his guns locked up so he bought a Homak metal safe and made a liner for it out of drywall. He cut the drywall to fit and glued it in with Liquid Nails then bolted the safe in a closet, out of sight and out of mind. A fire resistant safe for cheap.
  13. Looks like an Arisaka model 99 that has been sporterized by removing the front sight and shortening the forend of the stock. What I am going by is the safety knob on the rear of the bolt, the 99's have the same dimple in the edge of the knob as yours and the model 38's have an ear that sticks out of the knob like a small lever. The model 99's are 7.7x58 caliber and the model 38's are 6.5x50 caliber. JMO
  14. Go ahead and pet it, they're friendly.
  15. If you haven't seen it yet here are some moto cops getting lucky they weren't killed by a car. http://roadrunner.com/video/1616169731
  16. Its been a while now but I took my check out dives at Portage Quarry in Bowling Green, had a total blast that weekend.
  17. Here is a nifty little car. I got this in an email and got a kick out of it. http://www.ktuu.com/news/ktuu-radio-flyer-car-092910,0,1784245.story
  18. Here you go, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Nug5FZgxuk
  19. This thread brings back the memories, 10 years ago I was doing the opposite. I put QT gears and a 60cc kit on my kids PW, the Yamahopper gears gave the PW some grunt so it would pull off the corners faster. Thumbs up to your build.
  20. I told my cousin that we should've went to Marietta gun show so we did and just got back. Wasn't a big show by any means but it was not a bad show, I got some 7.62x25 ammo for 8 bucks a box and my cousin bought a 1911A1 for cheap. Probably 30-35 tables but it was worth our while.
  21. SAVE YOUR TIME, GO RIDING! You could put every firearm in the place on three 8 foot tables and all the ammo would fit in 2-3 shoeboxes.
  22. There is no listing for the admission price. http://www.gunshows-usa.com/ohio_gun_shows.htm
