  1. Maybe it IS me, then. They do have some great prices on new '08 1000rr's
  2. **googles ROSHAMBO** Ok, that's a valid option, too.
  3. Totally unrelated, but I think I can threadjack my own thread... I went to Honda Northwest today. Side note, they're not very friendly there, are they? Anyway, I checked out a new 600rr while I was there. Just sitting on it, made me feel like mine is a freaking Harley ultra classic. The new ones, they're so light.
  4. What happens if two people pick the correct number? Will you be buying one out of your own pocket, or will there be a cage fight for it? These things need to be thought out in advance.
  5. I wondered the same thing...
  6. Well, I'll be damned, the WAS an answer mixed into the sarcasm. lol.
  7. I think he took his toys and went home. Last post was over a week ago, when he yelled at us all for not coddling him.
  8. Ahh, thank you. 8 posts into it, I have an actual answer. So much sarcasm. I know, I know...
  9. Hey, I have that EXACT same jacket. But, still... 32
  10. Holy crap! Ewe really DO have sheep. I always thought they were just sheep screwing jokes...
  11. No, that certain guy was looking to REPLACE the CBR entirely. Then he fell in love with the CBR, and it's not going anywhere, but he still kinda wants a comfy bike, too...
  12. Just looking for opinions here. Let's say I know a certain guy who rides a CBR600RR. It's not his first bike, but it's also not the most comfortable thing he ever sat on, and he's contemplating a cheap second bike, which would be the daily rider, and the CBR would become more of the track variety. My choices for said cheap bike at the moment, are: 2003 Suzuki Volusia 800. It's got 7,000 miles, decent tires, 3 owners, as has aftermarket radio, as well as Corbin seat, and passenger seat with sissy bar. It's not EFI. 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900. This one has 20,000 miles, decent tires, but will need replaced before next season, 1 owner, includes manuals, some kind of aftermarket pipes, I forget the brand, passenger seat with sissy bar. 20,000 commuting miles, and the guy is a motorcycle tech for a dealership. Both are priced well. Obviously, the Volusia is a little less expensive, but not by much. Do any of you have experience with either of these bikes? Are they good for what I'm looking at?
  13. I could, but lawn care is included in the condo fee. It's mostly the green space around the buildings, etc., but hey, landscaping makes the whole complex look better, so I'm not complaining. lol.
  14. Well, yeah... Only difference I was able to find was that land contracts typically expire after 2-5 years, whereas this one will go the whole 30. And hey, I have a VERY nice little 10x12 plot of land for a back yard... Until I build a deck on it, anyway...
  15. It's how I bought my current condo. Due to a few minor marks on my credit, the banks wouldn't touch me at a decent rate. The guy that owned my condo had it paid for, just wanted to get rid of it. Looked at the credit, but also looked at the fact that ALL my income is disposable, I had good job time, my car is paid for, I don't have a credit card, and I had a pretty nice amount available for a down payment. We discussed it and came to agreement, where I buy the house, he holds the deed, I get contract stating that after 360 payments, the place is mine. Lawyers approve it, and it's valid. Fixed rate of 4%. I can pay it off without penalty, I can claim first time home buyers credit on my taxes (I did) and if I ever do anything ri-Tard-like, and get sued, theoretically, the condo isn't mine, so I can't lose it in a lawsuit. Not that I'd ever do anything like that to GET sued, but stuff happens. It's one less thing to worry about. It worked out with the best of both sides for me. It's not so much rent to own, as a seller held mortgage, though. I'm not paying stupid high fees, or interest, and the price I got is comparable to what condos in my complex sold for last year, so, good price, too.
  16. And apparently hot chicks who get naked.
  17. Good thinking. Exactly why there are no pics of my hot, asian girlfriend posted on here, either.
  18. Least it's not only motorcycles cagers don't pay any attention to.
  19. Do you have good stuff on your itunes account?
  20. Were you the one dressed up like an elephant? I don't remember anyone making fun of animals being slaughtered. Although without it, there'd be no more delicious hamburgers.
  21. Well, trade in value on it is over $5000, so I'd say I should be able to sell it for more than that.
  22. Lol. Well, worth looking into, I guess. It's a great car. I still want a truck, though, so what am I supposed to do, now...
