  1. I just sold my '06 883 custom with 3,200 miles for $1,000 less than that. Sporty is a great bike, but I think she's gonna have to be willing to take a lot more of a loss than $200 to make it happen.
  2. Something that would be a cross between the Harley I just got rid of, and the cbr I have would be great. My girl gets very sad that she can't ride with me, anymore. I want something that would be able to handle both situations.
  3. I'll be riding, but I'm in Cbus, so...
  4. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Cliffnotes version: Guy had a '90 Katana that had been stolen and recovered. Damage on both sides. Police department valued it at $2,800 and he wanted to trade it for a CBR, R6, or similar. Straight up trade, mind you.
  5. Damn, 8 points? Maybe a moped and a Camry? Mace that an Accord. A Camry might get ya more speeding tickets.
  6. Welcome. I'm from WCH, lived there, graduated high school there.
  7. Somebody jump on this before its gone!! http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/1681830891.html
  8. k, thanks for the help... Are you saying I should buy Batman's tires? And yes, these threads repeat, but like I said, I'm not looking for track tires, and that's what the majority of the threads consist of.
  9. I need new tires, and this weekend seems like as good a time as any to get them. After a search on here, I've not found anything that really helps me out. I called a couple of places that don't seem to understand that I don't need super sticky tires on my bike, because I don't do a whole lot of aggressive riding. More than I did on the Harley, but I'd like tires that will still last more than about 3,000 miles... So, those of you who have had different tires, what would you recommend for a good multi use tire? Something that will make my bike handle like the sport bike it is, but that can still handle daily riding, and commuting to school, etc. at normal speeds.
  10. I had a '95 Kat 600 with a chromalusion paint job, and a very custom velvet seat. No, I'm not kidding. I rode that thing for three weeks, then got my gixxer.
  11. Hey, thanks again for the ticket. The game really picked up after you guys left. Of course, it continued to get colder, so it got harder to enjoy.
  12. I'm poor, dinner would have been McDonalds or something. lol.
  13. That's awesome. But if your girl were cheating, wouldn't you just dump her?
  14. What do you expect? People steal shit, especially desirable things that are left unattended in an open, public space for several months. If I drove my CBR or my Lexus to the Hilltop in Columbus and left it in an alley for just a week, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't there when I came back. You left it for months with no insurance. Did you think we'd take up a collection to buy you a new bike? Sorry, it sucks that it happened. I've had a car stolen before, when I was 500 miles from home. I just can't feel sorry for you.
  15. Thanks. I feel like I owe you dinner, or a bike, or something. lol. Switching everything except my car. For some reason, USAA is still WAY cheaper on my Lex.
  16. It was Nathan, and he did ask how I'd heard of them, and I did tell him it was you. Im switching, too. They're $1400 a year cheaper.
  17. Wow... I'd heard about this, but had no idea of the magnitude of it. Puts things into perspective.
  18. Just called him for a quote. Hopefully, I get a callback with a better amount than Progressive is charging me. He's quoting my condo and car, too.
  19. I don't know you, but happy birthday. Anyone with an April birthday is good with me.
  20. Thanks. Just installed this one on mine.
