  1. not easy. werent even streetable in Japan.
  2. Had two, put all the pretty parts on the other one and sold it. Use this one for running to the neighbors house to borrow tools and steal beer. Runs like a top. New battery 2011 and kept on a Battery Tender since then. Key ignition. 90cc 2-stroke, completely automatic. $999
  3. 07 SV1k rear shock, about 9k miles, very clean. 03 (2nd gen) lower triple clamp, no bearings (lower and stem, one piece). 03 front brake setup (master cylinder, hoses, calipers, etc. All still one piece). Pickup only, Ridgeville Ohio (in the Springboro/ Waynesville/ Lebanon triangle).
  4. Cuz you need something to do after you run out of pillow talk. http://thecouponsapp.com/go/X4
  5. I need a photo of the front of a house on Stout St 45011, and am asking that it be emailed to me. If you can help me out soooonnnnn, please let me know. Thanks Jeff
  6. first good things have heard about them. refuse to use them. closest shop to me. to each their own.
  7. And if you went with a 55 series (vs 50) tire, its going to be even more noticeable.
  8. The threads are a lot more fun when one DOES get defensive. Seriously. I mean, REALLY tweaked over basically nothing. Just for future reference.
  9. Wouldn't "Whiny Vaginy's" flow better?
  10. Suits me, and handled like a dream. I can go into the whole "tire profile" argument with you, but I won't. Just for reference, noting the bikes that are in your garage currently, have you owned an SV, or just "seen them at the track"?
  11. 160 vs 180 rubber. Visually much better. I have no regrets about making the conversion. Upgraded the 1k to a 6" rear GSXR1k wheel and 190 rubber. Big handling difference? No. But I like the tinker factor, and the GSXR wheels are more appealing to me as well. I don't buy new bikes, so I don't have to feel bad about "wasting" money on stuff like this. I do it cuz I like to.
  12. SV is easily upgradeable with GSXR bits, and OEM rear shocks (i.e. Kaw, direct fit). Love the way my 650 handled. Love the sound of the twin, and the pull. Loved the 6 enough that I bought the 1k. We're still getting to know each other... I like the tinker-factor of the SV's. Kind of one of those bikes thats okay stock, but easily and cheaply upgradeable to make it what you want it to be. Sorted through a lot of bikes in the past, and have no complaints at all about either of my SVs.
  13. http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=88776 Guy on CL offered me $3k, and I accepted it, but he disappeared, so I guess the new price is $3k.
  14. Or build an igloo house. Or a really big stormtrooper transport. Or an F1 car. Or a snowball fight castle.
  15. Awesomeness. One of those "I wish I would've thought of that" moments. Hey, on the gauges, there are a lot of DIY setups online. Gonna do a DIY for sync the throttle bodies on my twin. Sorry, not trying to hijack.
  16. I'll let you borrow my SV650 for a $3100 deposit, and in the end, you keep the bike, and I'll keep the moneys
  17. ???? I saw something recently where a guy that worked for one of the scooterchair companies was talking about the fraud. How the users get one every year (for "free"), and he often went into houses where there were two or three of them not being used, and some that had never been used. If the "stay off the street..." comment is directed at me, I'll be happy to talk to you about it away from the board. Good timing, as just this morning I was adding up all the taxes and fees that I pay, and about 40% of my money gets taken away from me.
  18. "We" being taxpayers. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/2893371726.html
  19. Interesting. My tattoo's have always been wrapped in plastic for an hour or so after they were done. Never a problem. This most recent one, they changed procedure and used large bandages to cover it. Still only for an hour or so. And this one gets infected...
  20. Already got my left calf done about a year ago. I like the pain associated with the needling itself, but both are having a hard time with healing. This clown got a light infection (still dealing with it). Apparently, the bacteria of the infection love the carbon in the black ink. I called my tattooist to give him an FYI. The infection isn't anything that he did, but I wanted him to know about it. He said "when it heals, a lot of the black may be gone", and its looking like thats going to be the case, which means I get to go sit and get needled again. No worries, just hope it heals easier that time. Calfs have given me more trouble than other areas, thats for sure.
  21. Uh oh. Kinda like Sams Club, huh? "I'm just gonna run in and get one small thing", then next thing you know you're pushing $300 worth of chicken nuggets and a 25 gallon tub of ketchup out the door, wondering what the hell just happened...
  22. My wife and I ran up to Columbus on Saturday to check out IP. Wowwwww. We were there for about three (very fast)hours, and only left because we had to get back home for an event that evening. Awesomely cool. I thought it was cool that as we were walking up to the front door, a customer came walking out, pushing his grocery cart with a number plate on the front, and in it he had a set of tires, and some shopping bags full of other stuff. Just struck me as funny. I think its probably like Disneyland: No future trip ever matches the "magic" of the first visit, but what an incredible place. Good job, IP. You've got quite a cool thing going.
