  1. Anyone know whats going on there? Was by there last week or so, and its being renovated (good thing. It was a craphole). My eyes aren't great, but I swear that I saw "Kawasaki" on the window (YOT never dealt Kaw) along with some other stuff. Anyone?
  2. Beautiful. Congratulations.
  3. Told the guy I'd post here for him. Asking $1500. Its an '05 or '07 with about 7k miles on it. Black. If interested, contact Jim at http://scootersourceinc.com/ 937-604-5966

  5. "that makes the whole world sing..."
  6. I think thats what I was trying to sort out. Thank you. I picture what you're saying. Settling on tie down points being 3' apart. The 1' I might save by making the tie down points 2.5' apart (x2 bikes) isn't worth the wobble and instability factor. Thanks again. BTW, found some mount kits for only $25 on ebay, and Riders Discount has some there for about $36 (second best deal).
  7. I think thats what I'll do. I've got two chocks, but three sets of mounts, so gonna mount one set of mounts facing forward, and one facing sideways, and will mount the third wherever I need it for that trip, either sideways or forward. Or maybe just buy a fourth mount set and place mounts for both options. Mountain out of a molehill. (Holy crap, $50 for a set of just the mounts??? You kidding me? Screw that). RC: You gonna show at Porky's tomorrow? Won't even need to ride your bike, can just walk...
  8. WTH? Has someone hijacked KTM Brians account???
  9. KBB lists it at $1995 for excellent condition. Leaving some room for negotiation, he may not be too far off. The market will decide.
  10. For full size bikes. I have a couple of options on where to mount the chocks on a 6' wide, 16' long trailer. Considering two side by side facing forward, two facing sideways in the same direction, and two sideways, facing opposite directions (this seems like it would be the most compact/ efficient). From prior experience, seems that a 4' wide trailer is almost too narrow for two large bikes side by side. 5' is about right. 6' is overkill. Based on this, seems that an allowance of 2.5' per bike is about right. lll Seems like no matter how I mount them, I'm dealing with about a 6'x6' area. Might save a foot (i.e. 6' wide, 5' deep) by going with the opposite-facing option. Using popchocks, BTW. Thoughts?
  11. It doesn't say you have to have a kid with you... http://www.couponsgalaxy.com/resources/brand/images/04_28_12_BobEvans_07_April.jpg
  12. $849. No, I won't take $500 for it...

  15. Okay, was that someone on the video chuckling at 1:03 of the replay??
  16. Okay, not trying to mess with the thread, but Porky's is a pretty small place. Is this a sit down thing, and they know we're coming, or just "meet in the parking lot and BS" type of thing? Theres that lot across from Porky's (farmers market should be out of there by then). If there are going to be a lot of people, there's the old WalMart next to Home Depot, or the old Big Bear parking lot across from Kroger. And we can all freestyle stunt behnd the Walmart. Nottttt. Just thoughts. Your party, you decide.
  17. not necessarily. still trying to find Browns threshold for riding in crappy weather.
  18. Okay, so is that three things now? Truck down, hurt dog, damaged bike. Yep, three (four if you include the son getting hurt). You're safe for awhile. Rule of threes. Heres to a better week next week.
  19. Don't fart in a one piece riding suit/ leathers. Unless you're into that type of thing.
  20. Awesome. Congratulations. Lots of tinker potential sitting there. Lots. Wish I would have "discovered" SV's many years ago.
  21. Spoiler: It was gray, cloudy, and there was even a little snow, IIRC. And Brown rode, what?, 40 miles each way? Crazy bastage...
