I got pulled over on 315(the scenic route) because a cop was trying to go around me and I had no idea. Was doing about 30 over with lights and sirens behind me(I noticed this after a claimed 3 miles of him behind me). HE asked why I was running from him, I said I had no clue he was behind me(truth) and that my mirrors like to self adjust themselves at speed(that explains not seeing the lights) and that I had music playing in headphones(explains the sirens). He made me adjust my mirrors to where I could see him behind me and take my headphones out. Then he told me I had a nice bike, we shook hands, and I was on my way. Of course he followed me to the street I live on to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid though. Now a car related one. My buddy got caught drag racing in union county last month and now every time we cruise through there(country roads are nice) we get pulled over by the same officers. At this point it is actually borderline harassment. We never ran from him or anything and always cooperate. That guy, is an asshole.

well long story short, some guy cut me off yesterday after cutting across 4 lanes of travel and i blew my horn at him, he took offense and brake checked me, I swereved around him to keep from ass ending him at 60mph(in my car) and returned the favor. He then decided to pass me in the shoulder on an on ramp and swerve into my drivers side mirror which of course broke off. I followed him while on the phone ot dispatch(columbus pd) and they advised me to cease the following. I pulled over on Lane Ave and waited for the cops to come(which took enitrely to fucking long might I add) and the responding officers said the following to me: Cop: tell us how you came into contact with him Me: read above. Cop: well it sounds to me like you guys are both hotheaded. Would you like us to take a report? Me: well considering he took my fucking mirror off yes I would. Cop: we can do that but you should know that if we take a report and confront the guy about it, he his most likely going to have a different story and either nothing will come out of it and all charges will be dropped then you pay out of pocket for your mirror, or you both will be charged and your going to have to pay a fine and for your mirror out of pocket. What would you like to do? Me: I guess let you gentlemen go about your day and find the guy myself, this is bullshit. Cop: I wouldnt do that, both parties show up as having CCW's Me: my plates are under my dads name and he has one, I guess thats why disptach told me to stop following eh? Just a quick nooby question. I'm hoping to run at Wilmington next year and am curious what you guys have to say about high speed braking. Anything other then staying smooth? I've never been over 150-160ish and even that was only slowing down to 80-90. Been on my mind today, I know the wind likes to suck riders off their machines.

I've done that with some guys from a vw forum here locally. I now rage with them and steal their beer and women. It's a win win.

Are you working out of ips now? Or just using their dyno?
