I will raise you an A4 to your S4...

I just want to make sure the building of ice and snow on the lower 1/4 of the unit is not a sign of anything bad. I have been going out every few days to check on it and clearing it, but didn't know if there was anything else I can do to keep it clear. This summer I plan on building something around the unit to hide it from view, but keeping it 1.5-2ft away on the 3 sides of it. It might help keep some of the snow drift from blowing into it. Let me know...

I still like the first one the best, but I've yet to watch the 3rd of the new one.

I took the day off to cook dinner for her and maybe watch a movie on the couch. Just something nice and simple since everything has been crazy busy for us.

Also is there any major S4 2.7T forum I need to get on. There isn't much I can find on FAQ to learn up on everything.

Why not just buy a few and use a steel pipe in the middle of the two of them? Have someone weld the pipe and washers together after you find the right hight.

Kickass you going to be giving/selling those parts? Also I will need to borrow that cam lock tool for sure if I can. I'm going to be taking my time with it, but I don't think you are going to need it for the next month or two right? Not that I'm going to take that long, but just trying to make sure I get everything looked over before having to pull this engine for something dumb later.

Can you guys give me a brake down of things to keep looking over before putting the engine in. I'm like I said doing the clutch before so I don't have to pull it apart again unless going 6-speed after a big month of sales. Also since my new engine is a 01.5 I shouldn't have the F hose that has issues from what I hear. I'm also going to do all new timing stuff and I think the Thermastat due to it is behind the timing right? Also VC gaskets are going to be done since I want to clean those up with some Bright Red PC. I think some Cam seals might be a good idea since one seems to have a slight seap around it. Things I still need: Clutch S4 Flywheel(bought one from Kickass) Intercoolers(bought both from Kickass) ECU (maybe borrow 6 Speeds if I can) Pipes from Intercoolers to TB(bought both from Kickass) Intake Y to turbos(might get from engine place still, e-mailed) S4 body harness stuff to repin with.

Only reason I can see to not get the 330 ZHP would be the RWD. I don't like driving my truck in this crap and can't wait to get my new engine into the Audi to have AWD again. If you don't want to get into moding the 3.0 or 3.2 in the newer models don't have much aftermarket to help keep you from doing so.

Found my 4th arm for my engine stand yesterday. So I will get it 100% on just the stand instead of both the engine stand and cherry picker. Then I can take a few things apart to send off to get PC and clean the rest of the engine up before getting it set into the bay. I'm thinking of the RS4 clutch, but kinda don't like the idea of the self adj thing everyone talks about that could mess up.

It has been shown that even my hopes of an A6 ECU would work it has to still be repinned. So I don't think unless you have an S4 or A6 this will ever be plug and play, but since your buddy is a B5 it could be easier to do.

Even with that color to me it doesn't flow to me very well. Maybe if the wood was a lighter color like the tan it would be ok, but still I think of that blue GM interior every time I see it. The white interior to me is so much better even down to the stitching on the seats. The tan/blue interior I don't like at all. Maybe if it was tan/black I would like it, but I still don't like the baseball Audi TT seats.

I would love to have one. The black and white interior is hot. I'm not a big fan of the tan and blue at all.

Just got off the phone with them and they are replacing the drivers TB cover and the fan, but didn't have time since they where about to get hit with snow. So once the A6 they have coming in does come in they are shipping me the parts at no cost to me. Also they are taking pics of the 04 A6 ECU they have to compair to.

I might have to use that, but we are trying to find out more about the 02-03 A6 ECU. It might be able to be a plug and play setup for me since the body harness will be much like that of the A4. So we will see about that. They wanted $150 for the EGTs, but Clint if a 2.7T comes into the yard soon he can get them for 8 bucks. I would rather pay as little as I can for a used part. I picked up the engine this morning to see the front fan broken, but not sure if I'm going to use on on the engine or try to use my electric fans on the A4. I've seen a few people using a SPAL electric kit, but not sure if that replaces that.

Engine came in today, but might wait to pick it up later in the week if I can.

Well come help brake them in and walk on the tempur beds to let me sell more of them.
