  1. I'm working it again this year unless something happens before then. Come get a new bed! Spring home show is the next week.
  2. It's no problem. I can see replacing tires that have 60% tread to be hard, but to me I only see another 1/4 left I would still use since I replace more then others.
  3. No problem. I'm going to let it warm up some, but I do have a wood buring stove to heat it up that I never have used. I'm going to get the engine and maybe have you come over and help with the timing stuff to start, but I need to do a new clutch before putting this in on a 1.8T stock clutch with a good deal of miles on it.
  4. This sounds like the best idea if he wants to get the most out of the others, but is the full sized spare same tread and size? If I was selling your dad tires I would of told him to buy a new set of tires myself. I myself don't take my tires down to 4/32 even in the summer, but I'm a wheel whore and have extra sets.
  5. Patterson my 1.8 head is toast due to a 034 Kevlar Belt snapping at 14K miles after TB job done by a VW/Audi tech. I was going to go 2.0, but I saw the mach work was going to be as much as this engine for the swap. I will have a few more things here and there to get thing going, but I will like the 2.7T swap over a 2.0 build any day. Well for the EGR Clint from RAI is going to find me a set at the yard he goes to for $8 each. I will pick up another DV to match my Bayleys(sp)
  6. Hey Kickass I got one from that company. It is the 2001.5 with 89K on it with turboes and engine harness for $1200+ shipping. Only things I didn't get is the ECU, EGT, N75, downpipes, and flywheel. So once it get here I will be looking at what the engine needs before installing. Timing stuff and water pump I know for sure, but post that I'm going off everyone else. :bangbang: If they don't get it shipped out this week it will be no later then Monday heading out here.
  7. Hey I just shipped it to the terminal they had off Georgesville Rd. So one day before work I will just pick it up next week! Can't wait. S4 powered A4 coming soon.
  8. Nope. This is the Trey that has the Audi and in the past had Cavaliers and Sunfires. Wife does have a GLI, but never never the GTI or Candian Jetta.
  9. Hey I'm working with a company to ship out my engine from IA over here to Columbus(Lewis Center). Anyone want to help? They are also checking out closest terminal to pick up from. I have my 93 F-150 I would be picking up with that I would need to load into if you have a lift/ramp to get it into the bed without damage. Otherwise I can being my engine lift I guess along with the truck if I have some room inside/close to door to get it done. Thanks. :bangbang:
  10. Looks like everything is looking good with the engines from them. I got a price of $1200.00 with everything on the engine mice EGT and one other thing that can be added for 150.
  11. Let me know if you need some SSR's for it.
  12. Only problem I see with getting that from them is I still need all mani's, vac lines, and accs. So doesn't seem to be the right thing for me. I did send them a PM on the Zine asking for an engine without it being touched and just pulled with harness and all.
  13. I could even sell you some SSR GT3's that would fit it also. They are the ones that where stolen that I got back for cheap. Wheel Medic will need to do a bit of work before they go on the car.
  14. VW TDI are something we are going to look at for our next car/suv. I would do it. That is low miles for the price.
  15. Just seemed what everyone was doing it. I joined a few sites to see what to look for.
  16. Yeah like I said above I loved the IS300 and all the TRD goodies, but slow as balls unless you head swap and turbo.
  17. I wished... I have the 1.8T 5-speed. It has a week 3rd gear from what I hear, and runs 4K at 80mph on the highway.
  18. I wouldn't mind doing an Evo, but then again I'm trying to make mine into a lil sleeper Evo killer if the swap goes on as planed. :bangbang:
  19. Sounds like I need a ride in this car first, then Raj's car, and then Kickass. Should be fun. I need to get on selling my T3/T04E kit off my Cavy to help fund this swap. I need someone to get me the 01E trans stuff to swap over at the same time without the huge price tag. If Clint at RAI finds one I'm going to have to take the truck down there to pick up everything.
  20. If you have some time I would like to get a ride sometime. I'm going to meet up with that guy with the blue S4 that is stage 3 also soon. I just want to feel the power before I start buying things. Also coming off driving the F150 anything is fast.
  21. Hmm... No Audi/VW love? With all the TDI out there you can get a lot of MPG over any cars you have listed. If you are looking at AWD make sure to try out the Audi's. I was so dead set on getting an IS300, but the A4 won hands down. The Avants are sweet, but most people don't like them till owning a Sedan first. If not the MS3 would be my vote.
  22. The newer one with just the jack is nice. I don't have the problems I had with the older ones with the extra plugs
  23. I forgot to say thanks! We got 3 of them so the wife can keep on reading on her kindle.
  24. That is going to be nice if I can't get an engine with everything attached. How many miles on the Ko3's if I just use those to get it up and running. Also what all have you done to yours?
