x2 I've done a good deal of work with them and been very happy. I've done work with Brice, but he is more the office guy if I remember right.

If you do get a Grand Am make sure the 2.4 has only used reg oil and it has been changed out reg. The 2000-02 Grand AMs with the 2.4's can only use the 2000+2.4's and they cost 6-900 for a used engine since it was only used 2 years. Just FYI

Hey I just wanted to know how hard are these things to work on. It is a stright pole trimmer and not one of those curved cheap ones. It does need the primmer replaced and I think maybe a new carb put on. Does anyone know what they are doing with these, or maybe who works on them for a fair price.

For now I'm looking at dropping off my head to get some bent valves replaced and the whole head checked over instead of sending it out. I also might be looking at the cost to dropping in some rods/maybe forged pistons too then cleaning up the bottom end. Anyone know of people that do great work and not a lot of wait time that can do some CR discounting? Head is pulled and out of the car with the Intake valves in hand to replace, but I will have to contact someone about the Exhaust valves to be sent over too. I can have the bottom end out soon since I have everything to pull it, but just tryin' to get an idea of cost before getting in to deep. I'm tryin' to keep the cost down on this since this was all due to a 034 Kevlar Timing Belt problem at 14K miles after replacement. Thanks guys.

If you stay on top of it you can go to Staples, Office Max, and other store for the paper boxes they have. Most of the time they don't want to store them for people, but if you keep coming back they will save as many as you need. Make sure to get ones with handles and you will be set. I know with back to school some just don't have the room, but if you ask they might.

I just take my car down to Discount Tire where I worked for a while for the guys to do it for free. Sometimes I need to leave it or setup a time when they come in before work to do it for me.

I didn't know it had an aftermarket alarm. I would pull the power to that for sure. My 01 Z24 had the same type of problem where it would kill the car. I didn't even think about that. Has the old owner been asked about the problem? Cause maybe it has happened before.
