  1. Yep, takes all kinds. I also hear Feinstein and Boxer are calling for all of the LAPD as well as citizens to 'lay down their weapons during the statewide manhunt'. As crazy as that sounds, I wouldn't put it past either. Can't find a legit link for it yet, might be more of the crazy crap floating around too.....but it sure fits their dossier
  2. Man I have heard him being called a 'lib', a 'neocon', a traitor, a terrorist, righteous......depends on who is calling him a name. Some claim he has already been caught but law enforcement is keeping it hush hush to meet some kind of agenda. Some claim he is already in Mexico. Funny how the rumor mill works.
  3. Yesterday here it was really not too bad. Today, sunny and in the 20's currently, no wind.
  4. Best I have to trade would be a sweet Ithaca 20 ga model 37 with 2 barrels, circa 1974

I'm not so sure its all just to further arm our govt people.....another way to perceive it is a form of control....gun control....if they can't ban all the guns, they can eliminate the ammo and gain the same end result.....disarming America, which I believe to be their long term objective.
  7. To each his own I guess........I mean 'go' means different things to different people. Me, I look at it as g.o.d. (get outta dodge) as in 'no more conveniences, a govt takeover, or something of that nature where having to survive in the wilderness (or what there is left of it) would be the necessity. I'm taking bits and pieces of advice from a wide spread bunch of sources to make up something to meet this need. Some sort of shelter; a way to get drinking water; tools to get food, fire, to protect, to construct; footwear, clothing; first aid;....all in forms that allows mobility. Lots to consider......
  8. I skipped over this thread back when, but after all the goings on here lately decided I should do some reading to get some pointers on setting up a 'shtf' bag...lots of great info here and I am only part way through.
  9. That only stands to reason. But 'reason' does not always fit legal precedence, and that is where judges get their basis for any decisions they make. It would be nice to find the legal precedence for a shooting resulting from the shooter having set a booby trap, all of this in the shooters residence.

Civilian retail is 3rd on the list to get any ammo produced when it finally starts hitting shelves again. We're buying up what's left now....
  11. This stuff is real man. I saw a LAPD commander talking about it, he used the word 'scared'....and they 'knee jerk' shoot up a vehicle just thinking he might be inside. I'm going to try and get hold of a Leo I know out that way and see what his perspective is, but its sounding like some of the shooters claims have validity to them. Instantly made me think of Rambo.....lol
  12. Never seen that before......hows it taste?
  13. Circleville's Wally world always had full shelves, and now they are MT.
  14. Man, you were brave....lol. Driving through some areas of Cbus during daylight hours can be scarey...

  16. Maybe check with a lawyer. Don't they give you the first hour consultation free?
  17. Found a box of .40's at Walmart on the NE of Columbus yesterday, got the last box along with a box of .30 .30's. Surprised to find them for sure.
  18. An electrician friend was having problems with vandalism around his house. Also peeping toms. So he hotwired a chainlink fence with 220v run through a motion sensor. He also ran a bunch of long drywall type screws up through boards that he set under each of his groundfloor windows. This was a very small community he was in. He got into all sorts of hot water over the fence and very nearly went to jail without anyone even getting zapped by the fence. Once the fence was depowered he found several of the boards under the windows gone, with blood trails. He then got sued, fined and ended up having to move back down south. He was pretty extreme in his methods, but anymore the laws seem to protect the crooks more than the public, imho. Not sure how it works here in Ohio but I bet its about the same if not worse.
  19. LOL, bet Feinstein and 'O' would like to throttle ol Joe right about now.

  21. I can hardly tolerate thieves. Glad you found one bike and hope the others turn up before they get stripped down. Here's hoping the thieves 'get theirs' one way or another.
