  1. i'll leave doing my seat for last... after painting, and checking valves and i'm just so anxious to ride, I'll screw it up. Then I'll send it to Spencer...
  2. I bought a couple chunks from foamorder.com. Some of their hard, a little medium, and a top layer of medium-soft. But, haven't gotten around to actually working my seat yet...
  3. that's a neat lift. and it would probably fit in my living room! welcome, btw. man i wish i had a garage.
  4. would that pass a tech inspection?
  5. No experience here, but I know fea and time will solve all your woes lol.
  6. looks like yesterday in dayton. I really want a dirtbike... That looks fun. Minus the getting creamed by bikes in a sandwich.
  7. eh, i meant awesome lights and exhaust, but i guess i would have painted the wrap. need to wrap my own.... hm.
  8. wow. i was reading through alll of this, thinking "wow when did i miss a whole thread?" "awesome lights, exhaust blah" then, blam. sale. ooohhhh.... zombie thread.... lbts glws
  9. obo means he knows he's trying to sucker somebody.
  10. The freaking hamburger wagon! I grew up walking there and getting two burgers like every other day... Realistically, it's supposed to be "dayton." If you want the middle, try middletown... If the city hasn't gone bankrupt yet..
  11. Sonic in wc? Hubbs bike night is there on saturdays in the summer. Though, I do like the young's dairy thing.
  12. Are you talking about the place on woodman? It's like old hickory barbecue. It's either a guaranteed heart attack or viral infection.
  13. whoever buys your street glide will be very happy...
  14. i thought about rings, but i want to keep it simple. a) for my simple brain, but b) idk if i like the flashiness... thus the all white paint scheme. besides. i want to be visible, but not draw attention. idk if it's dayton, or i'm just a cop magnet... but yah.
  15. COPIER! I'M TELLING MOMMY! nah, i know it's hot. i can't freaking wait.
  16. so, it has been a pain to make a bracket to hold the new projectors, but it's jus about done. Here are the brackets. They're made from 3/16" aluminum, so I had to grind the area down where the little adjusting nuts would go. The idea is to keep it "stock" as possible, so I can go back to he regular lights if need be. I tried to keep the little ball joint cup thing too, but as you'll see, that created problems. This was test fitting the projectors. The lenses wouldn't quite go all the way down. So, I scrapped using the ball joints that Yamaha had on one of the corners, and just put a bolt with a nut or two as spacers. After about 8 attempts at making a shroud out of those flexible cutting boards. Then replicating it was a pain because I guess each side isn't exactly symmetrical... Now I just need to mount everything. I've got it wired up for the most part. But... other projects would prevent me from starting the bike anyway. nonetheless, I'm proud. This is projector retrofit number 2 for me.
  17. so they sent you the wrong ones? or they just fail at manufacturing? what brand? and making them shorter will only allow more of your plastics to get scratched in an off... i know it's to mitigate impulse to the frame, but... imo, more can't hurt.
  18. eh, i can drill a couple holes. about the fender, i might just go with the cheap ebay ones.so long as the holes are in the right place, it should hold up fine. and before anybody says it'll be a bitch to keep clean... i know. lmao. especially when i'm not a fair weather rider. but i've got pledge, rags and microfibers. and a whole lot of loooove...
  19. I thought so. :-) thanks. another question. Though i do intend to get sharkskinz for the main portion, I need a fender. And that's not worth $100 to me. Ive heard of delkevic for exhausts, but haven't heard anything about their bodywork. Can't really go too wrong with a fender anyway... right??? anyone have experience with it?
  20. Awesome. I've browsed the ebay stuff actually.. It didn't occur to me that it was other stuff than your site.. Haha, oh well. Glad to hear renovation is in the works.
  21. fun reads... i've had a few "wait, what was that?" moments, but i generally can rationalize anything so it isn't paranormal or a glitch. so... meh. it would be freaky though.
  22. i would like to see your website list everything you sell! it's just a whole bunch of gear! psh, who wears that stuff anyway... jk, i'm atgatt. but i'm already covered for gear... so, besides my plastics i'll eventually order, who the hell knows.
  23. bondo should be fine on small areas... if you're adding thickness to a section that'd be bad.
  24. I did, and I called and got a brick wall.
