I bathe my helmet liner in the shower... Guess I worry about the plastic-ey bits. After I'm clean, just double some shampoo on the pieces, squeeze then and rub them together to get a nice sud, then rinse. Air dry on a hanger draped over a stand up fan. Weird? Maybe. Awesome smelling helmet? Totally.
I just ordered some aurora gloves from motorcycle superstore. They're "on order" go figure, but when I get to try them, I'll post up here. Plus one on glove liners though. Some cotton gardening gloves saved my appendages last year.
My beater is nearing the end of it's worth while life... I can replace ball joints, but I'm not keen on doing this as frequently as it seems will be necessary... Got any good, ugly as balls, but reliable sub-1k things rotting in a corner?
eek. you don't need speed to make me go wahoo. it's the lean angles that are crazy. there were a couple turns we hit up today that i had some good fun on. definitely want to hit up that route to lebanon though.
which one? i got the alpinestars because of its functionality, but i'm concerned because some reviews said it's really big. and ReconRat, are those to replace your lights, or add more lighting? my stock lights are kinda lacking in the brightness department.
is that similar to a balaclava? i've got one shipping from motorcycle-superstore now. if i plan to commute into november again, i don't want to suffer like last year... and, pledge rocks. i get my seat really slippery too. it's easier to slide like a hardcore racer that i know i'm not...
plug it, yo. i got a nail in a brand new tire on the 650, plugged it and it held fine until i sold it. still is, pretty sure, as i'm facebook friends with the buyer, and haven't seen any posts about it.
i've got sidi slash. they come up over the balls of the ankle, and will protect it from rash, but wouldn't keep it from breaking, or being squished under the bike. it's my compromise for foot comfort. i'm rather picky about my feet...
maybe back in spring... i think i did go out that way once to get away from the house. i was just lost in my own world, though, so i don't remember anyone else behind me.
Why yes, I am a creeper. Ninja nick, you should enlighten me. I need to un square my tires. Oh, and making friends besides my fiance would be nice too...
i had a 650 for my first year, and only recently got the r6. i'd probably reverse it now. loved that bike. it was MUCH comfier, i could still tuck, and lean and shit that i thought i'd be doing on the r6. (still haven't gone on a good ride yet...) and it got much less gripe from bitches, which i find myself riding frequently.
