  1. Back roads are for me, the Mountains are my number one preference, hands down. Freeway riding is no fun at all for me, only a quick way to and from, necessary at times. City riding just plain sucks in my opinion, I try to avoid at all costs, but impossible to do so.
  2. "Worst handling bike?" Easy, any bike that I am riding...
  3. Glad to hear you are okay, best of luck on the recovery.
  4. I bought it new, Decent condition, no cracks that I know of, I will check, my 15 year old Daughters play toy, never raced, not even ridden much at all...Her Mom doesn't like her riding it...All stock with the white plastics.
  5. Never down, 2nd owner, I bought with less than 400 miles, 2 bros. slip ons, frame & axle sliders, air pump removed, flush mount blinkers up front, gear indicator with TRE, and rear fender eliminator $5K...1216 miles. Like an idiot I borrowed money against it for last Christmas, so the title will take a few days to get.
  6. I have a 2006 SV1000S with just over 1K miles on the clock...
  7. I thought I saw something like $8995-$9695 MSRP, but now I can't find it.

    7/30 555 ride

This sounds like it is similar to the ride I took yesterday, minus 555. What is the exact route, I might be interested?
  9. Have a great time, I will probably be heading down that way again in a few weeks.
  10. A little down on power but I think I am liking it...Your thoughts? http://900.husqvarna-motorcycles.com/en/
  11. I was going to post the same, but "Buellers" are very sensitive about Erik and Crew.
  12. If I was serious about racing on the track, and had 20K laying around, my decision on which bike to use would be so easy for me... http://www.ktm.com/us/superbike/1190-rc8-r-track.html
  13. Oops...Knew that, I just threw that in...It seems the ADHD is on a high level today...Thanks for fixing that for me! The RC30 was a V-4.
  14. Inya, That is why I use 565, 145, and 564 on my return to Caldwell/I-77... North of these roads on 260 is really nothing missed in my opinion...A bit longer mileage wise but better riding than that stretch of 78...564 is not great, nor to challenging, but I hear you can really haul ass and make some time on that road, little traffic, and I have never seen a LEO on that road, as compared to 78 which both scenario's does exist quite often. P.S. Sorry I didn't chime in, because you did ask, about 564 on your last ride and/or route... I don't like to intervene on other peoples routes they choose, unless there is a hazard, detour, or danger I know about in their chosen path.
  15. That's what I am thinking!
  16. I have yet to own a V4, but I have ridden a few, I almost pulled the trigger on an Interceptor and an RC51 a few times, I probably should have. The V4 that my focus is on now is the new Tuono, dealer support kind of sucks for Aprilia, and the price a bit steep, but man I like their bikes. The FZ1 is a great all around bike, of course only my opinion, I am not sure why more people do not consider them.
  17. +1 Mohican does kind of suck because of all of the above mentioned though, then again, I have ridden that area since I started riding, so it is sure to get boring for me...I very rarely go over there much anymore, only for meeting other riders, then we head South. A dual sport or a SUMO ride on some of those back roads would probably be awesome.
  18. Thanks for the heads up, I need to make my way down to that area again soon too.
  19. FZ1 is a much smoother and more rider friendly motorcycle compared to the SV. Both are fun and capable bikes in my opinion. The I-4 and the V-Twin debate, well again, just ones opinion on which is better...Personally I like both, and the Triple too.
  20. My guess is the paving will be finished, just unmarked, soft berm, and some rough entries and exits on bridges by Sunday for 800, certainly doable.
  21. Jagr, I saw that truck parked at Harbor Freight Tools on Dublin Granville a few weeks ago, you must of had the same impression as my Wife, Daughter, and myself had...The wing was a bit much I think...
  22. Hailwood, Your bike selection is way to similar, almost scary... 800 is being paved (much needed) South of Antioch to Fly, and 255 has a detour.
  23. I will probably be heading South this Sunday as usual, working Saturday.
