  1. If there is 3 inches of slush there has been salt, as I mentioned before, my riding season has ended till the next year, unless it warms up a bit and rains some to wash the roads off. Last year my season ended 2 weeks before Christmas, a 300+ mile ride. A guy I know in Mahopac, NY rides year around, he does not even own a car, just 4 Buells, a Blast, an XB12, an 1125R, and an 1125CR. They have serious Winters up there, he rides the Blast mostly in the Winter Months, lays it down quite a bit.
  2. Buell on ice! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iX9_fu2oaFo
  3. I have roadside with Geico Insurance, it came with the policy.
  4. If you think this sickens you, watch this. Watch all of the court proceedings and testimonies, it will really make you sick. BTW, I worked with the Officers Mom when this took place, and yes she defended him like he did nothing wrong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VH3wWVQZaq0&feature=related
  5. Glad to hear you are home in good spirits and doing well! I think you will enjoy a 675, that is a great bike from what I have seen and read.
  6. Tire repair kit, zip ties, flashlight and of course the specific tools for your bike. My Z1000 did not come with a tool kit either, and it was supposed to.
  7. Welcome to the site! I ride in the cold, but when the roads get salted, the bike is put away till Spring.

  9. More overtime than you can imagine. If you can't work 12 to 16 hours a day Monday-Friday, possibly some Saturdays and Sundays, you might not want to apply. Union job so it pays decent over $18 full time, with benefits.

  11. Considered a new Kawasaki Z1000? Comfortable, handles pretty well, plenty of power for the twisties, and great insurance rates. I would consider a 2010 though, a much better bike than the earlier models. I was skeptical when I first got mine, a 2008 model, but now it is all good, kind of a sportbike with the characteristics of a cruiser. http://static.blogo.it/twowheelsblog/gallery-ufficiale-kawasaki-z1000-2010-01/big_kawasaki_z1000_2010_01.jpg http://image.superstreetbike.com/f/31472775+w750+st0/0912_sbkp_03_z+new_bikes_for_2010+kawasaki_z1000.jpg

Not motorcycle related, but I thought it was funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHOizMhsOh4&feature=related
  13. Wow he hit hard and got right back up! Watch for his shoe, serious hang time! http://www.dpccars.com/motorcycle-10/09-13-10page-Iowa-Football-Player-Josh-Koeppel-Motorcycle-Crash.htm
  14. What is the Oct. ride, and what day? Thanks I am right on the edge of Marion, Union, and Hardin Counties 4 miles North of MCIR so I go through both Marysville or Delaware, depending on where I am going and the time I have, went through Marysville yesterday. PM sent!
  15. I was on the Kawasaki so it wasn't me you saw on a Buell. The Buell is being Lemon Lawed, so unless something really goes wrong with the case I will no longer be riding the Buell. I was not going to make it on time, I guess is what I should have said, so I went straight to 33. I was South of Columbus on 33 at 9:30. It would figure, I would have made it to the Chapel easily by 9:30. I must have been way out in front of you guys then. That doesn't surprise me, I was chasing myself down 33.....LOL I'm an idiot, confirmed once again!
  16. Sorry I missed you guys, I got a late start and didn't make the starting point in time. I hauled ass down 33 and obviously did not see you guys. I did not copy the exact route so I did my own ride by myself, once I did not catch up on 33. A great ride regardless just under 600 miles, I just got back in at around 9:15. Sorry to hear about the mishaps, I hope all of them are alright and have a speedy recovery!
  17. Thanks guys! I already had a route planned for myself tomorrow, but I guess I can do that another day, maybe Sunday, 425 miles Saturday, 600 + Sunday, might have to shorten Sundays ride.....LOL! I plan on joining you guys, no bad rear tire this time I hope! 8:45 a.m., Calvary Chapel 6075 E Livingston Ave off the corner of Brice Road?
  18. Are non CSBA Members welcome on this ride?
  19. Possible route for Saturday 9/25. Might change up some, I will probably be by myself. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/new
  20. Glad to hear, enjoy the new to you bike!
  21. I figured as much! I guess I will have to hit you up for a guided tour sometime? No crashes though, not interested in that!
  22. What roads are you guys riding in Coshocton? I think I already know the roads, but just curious if I am missing some. Thanks!
