  1. No I did not try and mount the exhaust. I am aware of it possibly fitting, but I am not 100% sure, so I did not want to take the chance, and then have the seller refuse to take it back. The seller did agree to take it back, but he wants me to pay the shipping charges to ship it back to him when he made the mistake....WTF!!! Just a heads up, I would not do business with this guy! By the way nopulse, sorry to see that beautiful triple gone...anyway how is that new to you Z, no regrets I hope? I really wish I had bought a new 2010 instead of a leftover 2008, but for the money I saved, and all the great trouble free miles, I shouldn't complain! Except for it going through tires so fast, maybe its my riding, of course my weight probably doesn't help this issue much either.
  2. Thank you, yes I have started the complaint process today with Ebay, and yes I did pay through Paypal.
  3. Has anyone ordered from motorradepot on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320613585368&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT They list they are in Columbus, Ohio. I ordered a brand new full Muzzy exhaust from them for my Z1000 and the exhaust I received is for a Z750. They will not answer my email's or contact me to resolve this problem. The contact I have is a person named Josh, only by email, does anyone on here know this guy, or know how to contact him? The whole transaction has been a total mess from the beginning, they received my payment immediately, and it took them 6 days to even ship it, and 10 days total to receive it due to Fed EX screwing their end up too. I only live about 50 miles from Columbus, and the right thing would have been picking it up in person, but I had no contact information for the seller other than through ebay, and the $20 for shipping seemed worth it to save me a trip to Columbus, I guess I was wrong!
  4. Welcome to the site! I rode and drag raced a 2001 CBR929 for about 4 years, it was a great bike.

    What's up

Welcome to the site! It is a buyers market, there are plenty of great deals out there for motorcycles right now, if you don't mind traveling a bit or having it shipped to you. Good luck with your search!
  6. Shark and Shoei have been the best for me. http://www.compacc.com/p/Shark-RSI-Helmet-Titan-Graphic-X-Large-Only-Closeout I just bought one of these.
  7. Sorry no pics, this road is very busy, and the Rescue Crew, MCS, and OHSP, would have locked me up if I tried to take pics, I am positive!
  8. It happened about 30 minutes before I got off of work, about 1 mile from my workplace. I saw the Motorcycle and it was not pretty, it was scattered all over the place. I can't believe they allowed me and others to drive through the scene of the accident. This part of State Route 309 East of Marion is terrible, there are several accidents here every year, I cannot even count the accidents I have seen here over the years! http://www.marionstar.com/article/20101112/UPDATES01/101112002/1002/NEWS01
  9. By an insider induced expectation, I was expecting this to release for 2011, I wonder what set it back for a year? This will probably be out of my willing price range, but I certainly do like it! I think the Tuono has always been a great motorcycle, and the addition to the extra power is certainly in my interest, but not necessary for my riding style. The new styling is tempting though! If I did not work for a living I would own several motorcycles: 999, 1198, 848EVO, Streetfighter, Super Duke R, RC8R, RSV4, Tuono4, S1000R, ETC. ETC.....
  10. The aesthetics of the mufflers might not be for everyone, but the design and performance are top notch. Kawasaki meets the EPA noise limits, and maintains most of the power and torque with their designs. Many have seen higher gains using the stock header on a Kawasaki with just a slip-on over an aftermarket header or full exhaust. With a slip-on or a full exhaust the Z1000 does not see much if any gain in performance, that seems to show the effectiveness of the stock exhaust. Sure you will see a gain in performance with a tune on the aftermarket exhaust, but you will also see more performance with a tune on the stock exhaust too.
  11. Why would you put down Harley Davidson like that? Not a fan of Harley Davidson myself, but that is just wrong, and hitting below the belt!
  12. I like this, I doubt this engine has been changed, 160+ RWHP, 75+ ft-lbs. of torque stock, and less weight. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-Black-Kawasaki-Ninja-ZX10R-1000cc-Sportbike-/320612160298?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item4aa5f9532a

  15. I still like the new Kawasaki Z1000 better, but I do like the Honda too, especially the single-sided swingarm.
