No I think she likes it when I am gone... Separate accounts with dedicated bill responsibilities, the only way to go!

    Today's Problems

Lack of self accountability at all levels. Current Union mentality (I am a Union worker). States not being "Right To Work States". Micromanagement. Big Government. Liberal mindset. Hypocritical Christians. Narrow minded thinking. Big Business. Selfishness. Laziness. Everyone owes me mentality. Looking for the easy way. ETC. ETC.++++++++, this could go on forever with me! MY WIFE (biggest problem hands down)!!! Wow I am a severely angry and hateful person...not breaking news! I guess I am living proof that Anger Management does not work....Seriously!

    Working mini V-8'S

Yes that was what I was talking about, it was late and I forgot the link....Sorry....what an idiot! http://www.streetfire.net/video/scaled-down-mini-working-v8-engines-must-see_76187.htm
  5. Have any of you guys seen this? I really need to get a life, this really fascinates me!!! http://www.streetfire.net/video/scal...-see_76187.htm
  6. The NADA guide gives you a range between high and low retail. using the KBB as a guide is not bad at least it gives you some idea, see what the trade in value is and work from that... Example: 2006 Suzuki GSX-R600 Value 4-Cylinders 4-Stroke 599cc Trade-In Value (Good Condition) $3770 suggested retail is (8980 miles is average) $5480 This is from KBB you should be able to find a reasonable asking price within that range. Low Retail Average Retail $3,810------$5,010 Suggested List: $8,799 This is from the NADA Guide. I hope this helps, and good luck!!!
  7. Wow...No Buell listed in the top 100, I would think at least one of their models over the years would have made the list across the pond.
  8. I know I have a huge noggin, but the KBC helmets seemed to run on the small side when I tried some on. The X-large KBC helmets I tried on seemed to be between a Large and a Medium compared to some of the other manufacturers helmets, so it will probably fit like a Large.
  9. Wow...aside from all of the aftermarket goodies, this is a great looking R6, I am surprised it has not sold yet....
  10. Not my thing, but it certainly is an eye catcher... I do like it, I too saw the same Yamaha reference on first site...I actually thought it was a modified Warrior rather than a custom build myself.... I get the idea of the bike being serviced at any HD dealership, but personally I think a big bore S&S engine would have been a better fit...
  11. Wow the percent of the motorcycle rider being at fault is interesting. We complain about the drivers out there, yet the overwhelming percent of the motorcycle being at fault proves different, by the reports. By these reports and studies we are our own worst enemies, and have no argument at all against automobile drivers and such being our main danger, it is ourselves! I really thought the numbers would be different myself, at least a closer margin anyway. That is some good information, thank you for posting, it certainly proved my thoughts to be wrong, I still remain a skeptic though on how accurate the accidents were reported and filed though. If I really think about it I have just as many people pull out in front of me, or have as many near misses in my Jeep as I do on my motorcycle, maybe even more. It just seems more dramatic when I have it happen on the motorcycle. As a matter of fact my Daughter and myself just had a car come around a curve in our lane and almost clip us on SR97 just outside of Butler this past Friday in the Jeep, I mentioned to her this happens quite often when I ride these very same roads on my motorcycle, and she needs to be aware of this, and know how to handle a situation like that before she experiences riding and driving herself on the roadways, she is 14.

    Got a deal!!!

Yes all issues so far have been covered under warranty. I have considered keeping it, not sure why but I have? I am still seeing most of the issues I had with mine are still happening to others too, it does have a brand new engine and transmission, but I guess it had a brand new engine and transmission when I purchased it new, so that really is a useless statement I guess.
  13. Are you only looking for a new wife, I have a used one you can have for free! Seriously let me know! Congratulations!

    Got a deal!!!

All of the many common problems plus a blown engine, it stranded me 3 times, and gave me a chemical bath when the engine expired. Something like 4-5 months total in a years time spent at the dealership for repairs. Several continuous "minor problems" is not okay, especially on a new bike, at least not for what I expect and appreciate from a new motorcycle. If it is from abuse or negligence on the owners part, that is different. My Z1000 has seen and experienced the same treatment as the Buell, and it has almost 8K legitimate trouble free miles (has not seen a dealer since new), the Buell had it's first issue straight off the showroom floor with a stator nut and fueling issue. My 1125R was nearly $12K OTD, so no I did not get mine because of the reduced prices after HD closed Buell. I expected a dependable and reliable motorcycle for the price, my 1125R has not offered me that in any way, nothing but a headache to say the least, and I know for a fact I am not alone with this very same Buell/1125 experience! On a positive note though, my 1125R breaking down on me was the reason the Z1000 was purchased in Tennessee when I was on a trip to Deals Gap, the Z saved my needed long awaited vacation.

    Got a deal!!!

Thanks for the suggestion on the PM to Tpoppa' date=' but I have already discussed it with him. Yeah JRMMiii is correct, and these are the pics of the bike, thanks for posting them. Thanks for not buying it before me, I bought it the following day after I found the listing, not sure how I missed it before now...

    Got a deal!!!

All I can say is it was $100's less than half of what he originally paid for the bike new. My thoughts exactly... he felt it was more power than he needed, and did not want it anymore. Both will get plenty of ride time. I wish I could sale the Buell, but it is in HD's hands to decide what to do with it now.

    Got a deal!!!

I put a mint like new 2006 Suzuki SV1000S with 457 original owner miles in my garage today.....it seemed like a great deal, I couldn't pass it up!!! It already has aftermarket Two Brothers slip-ons and a home made tail eliminator installed. I think I found my Buell 1125R twin powered replacement bike for when, if it ever does, go away....Harley Davidson is trying to be as difficult as possible in settling on the 1125R....They openly admit that this is in every way a clear cut case against Buell and Harley Davidson under the guidelines of the Ohio Lemon Law, but they have refused to settle in a reasonable manner or time period.... I know this is not a big deal for most, and it is not the greatest twin powered bike out there by far, but I think it will fill the void for me, and I am pretty excited about finally getting a deal on something... I never get to capitalize, or even find a deal on anything I buy like some do.... I hope I didn't just jinx it!!!
  18. +++1...I have ridden with a few skilled riders on VFR's, and those bikes can surprise you with what they can do, and comfortable while doing it! Not bashing the CBR at all, it speaks for its self by far, but for an all around everyday bike, my vote is for the VFR... Best of luck with selling the VFR if that is the route you decide to go, there are plenty of CBR's out there for good prices right now!
  19. I spoke with Curt at Muzzy, he told me the two exhausts and engines are completely different and it will not work, even the header fitment is different. I guess I have to go off of what the manufacturer says, they should know!
  20. That sounds great, I was wondering how it was going when I saw you considering the Z over the Triple, I wasn't sure if that was going to be the right move for you or not, it sounds like it was. Yeah the difference between the Z you had, and the one I currently have were slightly different, but the 2010 seems to be a completely different comparison too the 1st and 2nd generation. From what I have read I was still a little skeptical about the huge differences, but now that I hear a true comparison, from your experience, I guess all of the hype is confirmed as correct with the new Z1000. What do you think about my situation, should I go ahead and try to install the exhaust, or not? The exhaust for the 03-06 Z1000 I know works on my 08, but the one for the 05-06 Z750, I am not sure? I am pretty sure the header will work but I am not sure on the mid-pipes bend being the same, or the mounting placement lining up correctly. The reason I ask, is that I am getting nowhere with the seller and I did get a really good deal on the exhaust, so I want to keep it if it will work.
