  1. Closest to me at present, 3 hours.
  2. The released EBR Dealership list is not impressive, not many showing interest I guess. Maybe more will come on board later? From the buzz, I should say common lies or delusion, on the Buell specific forums, and from EBR themselves, this list was expected to be larger when released...I am not surprised, nor am I surprised that some are Harley Davidson dealerships either. http://www.erikbuellracing.com/find-your-dealer/
  3. Damn it, although I have never owned one, I do like the VFR (not the 1200), and what it has to offer, must be my age showing. It would seem that the 1200 version has not done very well for them, this might be a good move for Honda?
  4. I like this, but I am not sure if I like it enough for a Speed Triple replacement...the pictures that I have seen of the SE, does have my interest though. I am awaiting to see if they have actually adressed the high pitch buzz that is felt in the sweet spot, a known issue, but much worse for me than most, with my nerve issues, it really iritates my arms and hands on a long spirited ride...Most motorcycles do to some extent, some worse than others, the Z1000/Ninja 1000 (SX) being one of them.
  5. I am willing to store this one in my garage for you.
  6. I like 197 too, I did not think the stone section was all that bad, and it saves several miles of back tracking...rode it twice, once on a Z1000, and once on the Speed Triple, muddy as hell this time...It is very narrow in parts, not sure how cars travel it...
  7. My interest is more toward the SX or AX model's, when/if they are released, and they are reasonably priced of course. The more I see the RX, I think I like it more, for me to own, probably not, unless I find a very good deal on a used one in a few years. I am still a bit skeptical of the reliability of the new EBR's, seeing the high price tag, it might take a few years for this information to get out there...With 4 years of development, the many problems that the 1125's had, should be gone, only time will tell.
  8. I hope so, I want to see the sex tape.
  9. Thiel's Wheels is horrible at everything, especially service and parts... years past, they were somewhat better, now they are complete shit! I have dealt with them for something like 20+ years now, only because they are so close to me, and I never imagined that they could get any worse, well I was very wrong! I did boycott them for several years, but like the dumbass I am, I gave them another shot...only because I liked some of their employees, a huge mistake that was... Please everyone, do yourself a favor, stay away from Thiel's Wheels... Sorry, rant over...
  10. I do shop at Iron Pony, not as much as I have in the past though... with prices from other stores being so much cheaper online (before sales tax), free shipping, and at my door in a few days, on just about everything, well that is an easy decision for me. I have not tried to purchase a motorcycle from them yet, but I will most likely be doing some tire kicking there soon... we will see how that goes?
  11. If so, they will have their hands full, as the others will too (Kawasaki & Honda), with the KTM 390 that is expected here in the States, if the 390 is as good as it has been made out to be anyway.
  12. I agree to a point, and I am also not familiar with the rules, or format of either series... but I do know EBR has a hard time keeping that engine together, rather that is caused from the limits, or restrictions, placed on them from the AMA rules, or that the engine being used has reached the limits that it can handle, not sure? Maybe they are developing a whole new engine for this, again, not sure on the rules? Erik has discussed a 3 cylinder in an interview I watched some time ago, and I am sure there are several other options he has considered too, V4 maybe? If he stays with Rotax they make many different engines, so he should be able make a sound decision on what will work with their assistance.
  13. I think some forget that the RS is/was sold as a street bike, not the complete race bike that is seen in AMA, sure EBR claimed to be able to ride the RS in with street trim, remove it, race it, that was not true, and proven not to be the case. The most noticeable upgrade for the RX over the RS is electronics (traction control), the RS does not have it, added to the AMA race bike just this past season... a different, supposed to be better, mount for the front brakes is another, and there are others too.
  14. Huh, I thought it was just me, and my lack of negotiating skills. I guess I am not alone on my thoughts of the Central Ohio dealer's after all.
  15. I am not interested in anything deafening loud, I had that, and sold it (GP reverse cone from British Customs).
  16. Yeah I saw that, I am not sure that is such a good choice on EBR's part. The RS has struggled keeping pace in AMA competition, so it will be interesting to see how they will do. Good on them if they have the resources to give it go, and it would be nice to see them succeed at it too.
  17. If I were one that spent $20,000 plus more for an RS model, I would most definately feel like I got ass raped right about now. No matter if it were carbon fiber bodywork or not! My opinion, which does not matter at all, still stands, not impressed...nice bike, and good for Erik, but I guess Harley Davidson prices, and hype, still flows heavily through his veins. At the original 1125R msrp prices, even a grand more, I would maybe consider one, still a bit leary about the whole support, warranty, parts, and future of the company though.
  18. http://ebrforum.com/showthread.php?69-Article-Live-Images-and-Info-from-1190RX-Debut-at-AIM-Expo $18,995 MSRP....Wow!
  19. It could be the yellow, but I do remember a video surfaced of a motorcycle, in late 09 or early 10, that seems very close in resemblance to this one (Barracuda or B2), that Erik and staff were road testing. A few years later, here it is, maybe not? Many articles if you search... http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/forum/f14/2011-buell-barracuda-bike-never-96271/

  22. How about a new EBR... https://scontent-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/1383954_673970302621110_422797361_n.jpg No thanks!
  23. I like your choices I like the FZ9, of course there are several others that I would like to own, but the FZ9 just makes the most since to me right now. I am feeling good about what I currently own right now, but the Winter months are usually long, so who knows if that thought will change by Spring time?
  24. Well it was mentioned to me last year, I was unable to attend. I think I was going to be used for passing practice, I am good with that...
