Looking less like Brexit and more like Brentry. Except for the black and gold (or white w/ blue frame... oh that blue frame...) special edition daytona, white is the way to go. Good choice.

Thanks for the heads up Derek. On that note, if anyone else is looking to pick up a 20s sooner than spring, let me know. I can swing a split if need be. Otherwise I'll be picking up a single unit after winter releases its icy grip.

I don't know the roads for crap being a Columbus schmuck but I'd be happy to help test any new routes @DerekClouser is considering...

For those with experience in the helmet com/headset arena, what are your recommendations as far as models and the like go? Are there any comparable products to what Sena makes from another manufacturer? I'm looking for something to tap into phone via bluetooth and listen to music, directions and from time to time BS with people I'm riding with. Built-in camera and all that isn't important to me. Looking through reviews online, there are so many different models and each model seems to have things they are good at and things that should just be swept under the rug... I'd like to hear from people with first hand experience if at all possible.

works for me, can cut through hocking on the way to/way home from the ride. nicer than slabbing on 70 for an hour.
-
@TimTheAzn I agree, man up and join the gayng.

PTO request submitted, expecting favorable response. Triumph should be good to go, will be looking for a cheap-ish tailbag solution that works with my high-mount exhaust that fits all the spare batteries.

those are the guys just begging someone comes after them so they can pull out their CCW and stand their ground.

caught me, i couldn't sleep because of butterflies.
-
Oh yeah, I know this very well. It's hard for me to sleep the night before a trip... hell, I only got 2 hours of sleep the night before the last track day.
-
Yeah I meant that Friday, the 14th. My bad. I'll have to see about that Friday. I suppose leaving Saturday morning wouldn't be awful as long as I'm not working past midnight the night before.
-
not sure if I can make this now... looking at the calendar a job just popped up that would have me working until late on the 17th. I'll see if I can get around doing that somehow. Don't really want to do 4 hours of slab straight into another 5 hours of hard twisty saturday so I'd prefer to get down to WV on friday.
-
Still tentative on this. Leaning towards "fuck it I'm not coming into work for a week". I'll know by the 17th (this coming Saturday.)
-
I'll put in for the vacation days next Tuesday. Will be there from Wed-Sun, maybe longer if I can swing it. Not sure if riding or trailer-queening down.
-
I was never really in... but I'm officially out. Have fun!

There are so many trumpets at the track now days, they could start a marching band. I was the odd man out last year on the striple (there was 1 other triumph there that day and it was also a tracked out striple). All daytonas now... hell, I had twin '15s in my novice group. Also, welcome to the hipster brits club Nivin. Hope to see you at the track next year. I'm sure there will be tea, crumpets and a flannel shirt waiting for you upon your arrival.

now i know why your teeth hurt...

If he decides to go the SV route, PM me. Also, I recommend the SV route, for a completely non-biased or unselfish reason.

Yep, happy to meet some of the track crew on the boards here. You'll be seeing more of me next year.
