I got my Asyms the other day and I have to say they fit very well. However, I like the marshmallows quite a bit more. Better SQ and stay in my ear with my helmet on and were more comfortable. But I am keeping both because I am sure I will go through a few pairs during the season.

Honestly I would take the bike through it's paces with some good riding before dropping the money on a damper. Im waiting to see how it does on the track before buying one. Spend the $300 on a few track days. The bike is light years past your kat and if you bought one now you prolly couldn't tell if it had an effect.

Put around 2500 on mine in a little over a month. I've done a few long days and only after a 300+ 7 hour trip my butt and knees hurt. Mostly a comfortable bike. Good power and handling and I can't wait to track it. I've done plenty two up and my gf finds it to be pretty comfortable. We've done a four hour trip and she didn't complain. Not really great for around town but works for commuting. I'm currently looking for a new bike to do some touring/commuting with and keeping my CBR for joy riding.

Be patient and you'll find something there's always something out there. In the mean time get a few thousand miles on your ninja then upgrade. You need more experience and you have the bike for it. Ride a bit longer and buy in a couple months.
