  2. Would the same rules apply as if you were not a CHL holder? Ammo and firearm separated in a locked compartment inaccessible to the occupants?
  3. Still 50/50 on this. If the weather wasn't shit I'd be 100% but since i'll be in the cage it kind of takes the fun out of it. And no I'm not riding up the freeway in the rain for fun. I'll see if any other central folks want to car pool with me.
  4. I fight conformity on a daily basis. It's what I do.
  5. I like drinks of all flavor ice cold and don't like to water it down with ice. So the freezer it is. Not all of us are liquor snobs.

  7. If you have troubles finding episode 15 where he was in the states here is a direct link. Some people have issues playing it because of copy right bull crap.

  10. Similar to Long Way Round but this dude is totally alone(except for conections he makes along the way), no support vehicle,no film crew, no unlimited budget and on a GSXR1000. 17 part Youtube series. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/user/teapotonevids/featured Link to the youtube trailer and playlist...

  16. How I've always ridden. Somone at the gap trip last year ask me if I had a quick shifter installed. Nope, just done it that way so much its natural for me to just blip it every shift. 50k miles on the old Connie and no problems.
  17. Every Jap bike I've ever owned has had that. I don't clutch unless I'm stopping.
  18. For a guy with a 2 year old bike you work on that thing a awful lot. ....
  19. I could not run synthetic in my TL or it would slip, always had to run Dino oil. But they are known to have shit clutches to begin with.
  20. Okay new goal, lets see if this gets my motivation back. Family vacation to Florida beaches is May 20th. Let see if I can get to 225 or less by then. That's 13 lbs or around 1.5 lbs a week.
  21. We will see, need to get the lights hooked up on my trailer before then. Actually thought again about selling the Recon this year. It hasn't moved since the last trip to Wayne the boy doesn't even ride it any more. For sure can't justify buying anything else till I devote more time to getting down there. Wish I was closer like you bubbys. Takes me about 2 hours to get there.
  22. Not sure if you read the whole thread but yea its still good. Did some research and called Shell they said it's still motorcycle wet clutch approved
  23. I've heard a few folks tell me this too but I've been running it for a few years now and obviously I can't say what the inside of my engine looks like but It's been great in my bike. As you all know I'm a heavy throttle and heavy engine brake rider and I go 6000 to 7000 miles on oil change intervals.(Kawi says 7500 in the manual). On oil changes, other than being dirty it never comes out looking like anything but, no shavings no sludge, ect. As far as shifting I've never noticed any difference when I switched from Mobile1 4T nor do I think I anything feels wrong. Even with 6000 miles on the oil it still feels like good clean shifts to me. My reasons for liking T6 is one because of price and two I can stop at just about any parts store or department store and grab a jug, I hate having to make a special trip somewhere to grab oil and get raped over it. Obvious here every bike and rider is different. It' s a shame it dosnt work for everyone because specific "moto oil" is way too over priced. $65-$70 DIY oil changes in my bike are ridiculous, with T6 they are $30
