We will see, need to get the lights hooked up on my trailer before then. Actually thought again about selling the Recon this year. It hasn't moved since the last trip to Wayne the boy doesn't even ride it any more. For sure can't justify buying anything else till I devote more time to getting down there. Wish I was closer like you bubbys. Takes me about 2 hours to get there.

Not sure if you read the whole thread but yea its still good. Did some research and called Shell they said it's still motorcycle wet clutch approved

I've heard a few folks tell me this too but I've been running it for a few years now and obviously I can't say what the inside of my engine looks like but It's been great in my bike. As you all know I'm a heavy throttle and heavy engine brake rider and I go 6000 to 7000 miles on oil change intervals.(Kawi says 7500 in the manual). On oil changes, other than being dirty it never comes out looking like anything but, no shavings no sludge, ect. As far as shifting I've never noticed any difference when I switched from Mobile1 4T nor do I think I anything feels wrong. Even with 6000 miles on the oil it still feels like good clean shifts to me. My reasons for liking T6 is one because of price and two I can stop at just about any parts store or department store and grab a jug, I hate having to make a special trip somewhere to grab oil and get raped over it. Obvious here every bike and rider is different. It' s a shame it dosnt work for everyone because specific "moto oil" is way too over priced. $65-$70 DIY oil changes in my bike are ridiculous, with T6 they are $30

There is a hidden key in the fob for the tank and bags. I usually leave one in my bag and just reach over and grab it for the tank during fill ips. The fat key in the triple tree is also removable but I hardly ever take it out. It's made to stay in and locks in

Mid-ohio in Mount Vernon cut one for my wife's Yamaha. They had a blank too only like $8

Sounds like maybe somebody on the other website accidentally put the multi vehicle version in thier bike I believe it does contain Moly additives.
-
That is the new multi vehicle version it is not made for wet clutches. Here is the one that is... http://rotella.shell.com/products/t6-full-synthetic.html
-
That's a decent deal but that probably Dinosaur Oil and not Synthetic isn't it?
-
OK just call Shell and talked to a lubricant tech guru and he informed me that the new formulation for the Rotella T6 will still be JASO MA1 or MA2 standard. And I ask about the PPM of moly that might be in it and he looked it up and said there is Zero in it. And shell recommends T6 for any wet clutch applications. And the new multi vehicle IS NOT made for wet clutches. If you want to hear it from the horses mouth here is the number to call. The guy said they are getting calls about this daily. Have a Technical Question about a Shell Lubricant Product? 800-237-8645

OK doing a little research it looks like they just added one to their product line called "Rotella T6 multi vehicle" and still carry the regular "Rotella T6". The multi vehicle does not have the JASO MA1 or MA2 standards but the the old T6 looks like it still does. That was a quick search still need to look deeper into it.

Yup, slim should get the nod for this one.

Yea, but I could also see how some random dude found the thread in a google search and wanted to be helpful too. Like I told Justin yesterday that it probably was spam but at least it was semi helpful to the tread. All the links in it are links to amazon.

Justin and I were texting each other about this post yesterday morning. I think it's a spammer but has not shown thier hand yet. The link they posted isn't spammy yet. Or is it? I was watching them for more post.

I would think a ADV tire would be far simpler to spoon on than a stiff walled ST tire. And I've spooned on a few of those.

If you're an enabler of a person like this how in the hell do you justify that. What do you say here's a large pepperoni pizza and when you're done eating it I'll clean the shit out of you fat rolls and wash the fugus from between your back fat? Be damned if I enabled somebody that was that big and then had to clean up after them cuz they are unable to do it for themselves.

There are struggles in every story but there are better ways than what these folk are doing or not doing.
-
My wife had surgery too and we hear failure stories all the time from people that had the same thing. BUT like you said they went back to their old ways and they failed themselves.
-
No I would not starve them to death but I would only feed them what they need to get healthy with professional guidance of course. Because basically the alternative here is they are getting feed to death.

I think a person or business should not be forced to do ANYTHING they don't want to. With some of the examples above also apply. Will this make the Doctor or Baker or Eatery owner look like a Douche Canoe in some peoples eyes? Yes, absolutely but it's still their right to want to be labeled that. If they are anti clubs, or gays or blacks what ever their issue is I feel they have a right to think they ways they do. If it's socially unacceptable society usually has a way to give then their just deserts. In no way am I saying any of these folks are right or wrong Im just saying it's their right to want to be wrong.
