  1. I was debating on moving this thread to the Track section @TimTheAzn is just getting pay back for my track trolling. I kid .. I kid....carry on
  2. Im not sure how the new systems are but the ABS on my bike is an absolute last resort measure. The brakes act just like any other non ABS bikes brakes 99.9% of the time. But the 4 or 5 times I'm glad I had them were "oh shit" moments. Only one of those times was it because I ran out of talent. The other times were due to idiot cagers or critters that didn't stay in their lane bro. Mine dose not have TC but i can think of a couple times it would have been nice to have.
  3. I'm highly impressed. cartiage forks, adjustable rear shock, brembro brakes, cornering TC and ABS, extended reach options for tall people, few taller windscreen options on top of the already impressive engine specs. Priced right in my opinion. $22k-$28k. Future replacement for the Connie? Maybe...LOL Only thing I see missing is top luggage. Also with a 6 gallon tank and 680 wet(full of fuel) win, win.
  4. Another bombshell drop.....Corning traction control and ABS.....
  5. Think the Klim Vanguard will be my next gloves. I'm a bit of a glove whore but I'd like to thin the heard down to two pair. Everyday gloves and my gerbing heated., so my everyday gloves will have to be Goretex
  6. Look again, most of those say Out of stock when you look at the drop down sizing. Something going on there with Held.
  7. Rode that bitch 174 miles today and started breaking in my new gear. Never got more than 30 miles from the house.
  8. I don't have anything on the tree but my wife does. The the only time she ever rode the Dragon on her HondaDavidson(shadow) she broke her speedometer cable...lol

    Deadwood

Montana mountains have had several feet of snow already this season. Bear Tooth Pass has been closed for about a month.
  10. Yeah that's kinda what happened. Looked down speedo was a tick over 150 and my sphincter got smaller. 190-50 tire on right now is why the speedo is so far off.
  11. Big girl wanted more too, she was still climbing hard in 5th gear with the bags on.
  12. Changed the rear tire after work, damn cords were starting to peak. Then took it to a closed course in Mexico and broke in the new tire proper.
  13. This is a nice detailed read about the new engine. https://www.cycleworld.com/inside-indians-new-powerplus-108-v-twin/
  14. The wife's scout has a stage 1 tune and exhaust not sure what its curve looks like. But that thing is impressive. It would out run and perform most big boy cruisers. Its a blast to ride being so small and nimble.
  15. Just heard it will have hydraulic lash adjusters. No vavle adjustments needed. Nice!
  16. Here is a chart from a 18 scout. The new engine is simular to the 1200 scout.
  17. Big boy Vtwin cruiser platform with some POWA! The Scout has impressed the hell out of me, they are now taking that engine design to the next level. MODERN PERFORMANCE Engine Displacement: 108 cu in (1769 cc) Power: 122 hp at 5,500 RPM Torque: 128 ft-lbs at 3,800 RPM Maximum Engine Speed: 6,500 RPM Architecture: 60-degree V-twin, liquid-cooled Timing: Overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder Transmission: Six-speed with true overdrive, constant mesh Clutch: Assist clutch https://www.indianmotorcycle.com/en-us/powerplus/ https://www.cyclenews.com/2019/10/article/indian-motorcycle-unveils-new-water-cooled-v-twin/
  18. Added note. When Klim says "Tall" on the pant they freakin mean it. Think these think have over a 35" inseam. little long when standing but perfect in the riding position for me.
  19. Exactly what I'm looking for. All day all weather comfort. I find myself bringing a extra lighter or heavier jacket on most of my long trips and that takes up a lot of bag space.
