  1. If you feel you have out grown your GS Id say jump to it right now, or when ever the finances will let you. I think you will grow into it a lot quicker than you think. I sarted out on a gsxr750 (100hp) then took a 4 year hiatus then picked up my TL1000(125hp), took it easy with the TL till i got comfortable then started giving her hell. I'm no knee dragger but i'd like to think i'm a above average rider. Like i said learn self control and respect the bike and you will be fine. My current 1400 is still a learning curve for me but ive only had her for half a season.
  2. Sorry for jacking your thread Mr. Rooso hope you have the bike sold too
  3. Just because the power is there does not mean you have to use it. I would upgrade in bigger steps or go right to were you want to be and learn self control till you have the skill set.
  4. looks like nice clean little truck,(i mean LBTS) GLWS
  5. just ran my oldest down to her friends house and there is over a inch of sleet and slush on my road. Far worse than snow and being a weekend the county will not be out.
  6. Awsome, glad it worked out and i didnt have to piss off the wife
  7. Need a good down pour here, the county has been filling the pot holes on my road with tar and chips. It's a hell of a mess, needs to be washed away
  8. Had it over a week now it is doing everything i need it to and doing it well. I do have a quick question for you puter nerds. I usually run a defrag when my computers start getting slugish, would it help of hurt if i ran a derfag before i got to that point I just want to keep this machine running like it is now.
  9. One more because i feel like being a pic whore and i love this pic.
  10. This will be my getup, only difference is new A* touring boots.
  11. My yard is like soup with it still frozen the water has no where to go. So going to and from my bike shed ive been baja(ing) it to and from, so right now the ol connie looks like she's been running the mud trails.
  12. I have all season tour pants with a rain liner and ill prob wear my m2r touring jacket that is fairly water proof has kept me dry in most situations. Not too worried about riding in a down pour because i just wont do it, steady rain no problem but any more than that it's just not worth it in my opinion. Plus i have found the Connie seems to throw most of the water away from me anyway.
  13. A step up yes, just depends on how big a step you want. Personally i don't get the baby steps some take in bike selections. I'd think about what you ultimately want to be into and ask your self if you are capable of controling your self and being able grow into it, and if the answer is yes take the leap.
  14. Whhhaaattt? I gotta travel, plus half the cruise gets paid for with credit card reward points ..I thought about buying that 600 bandit and flipping it for a 4 whiller but i'm not sure i'll have time for any of it. Mama bear might have a new job with a new pay scale so maybe it will be sooner than later.
