  1. I stayed in The Lodge at Deadwood & Casino while i was out there it as freaking beautiful but a little more expensive. If i indeed end up going i WILL need someone to split a room with that will be the only way i could afford to go, and i too snore like a old bear.
  2. The heat is a non issue for me, yes i notice it form time to time but its not like it roast you off the bike. i used to own a TL which a lot of people say stands for nuts Toasted Lightly and the connie is nowhere near as warm as the TL was. The heavy steering I did notice on my first test ride, but I also noticed it just disappears while rolling above parking lot speeds, pushing and backing is the only time i notice it now, you have to remember this is a 700lb bike. As far a suspention goes i think it is great for a bike of this size, only thing i have change since i have had it is the preload on the rear to compensate my fat ass, and while in NC and TN in September i was able to drag peg on several occasions. I do not like the idea of linked brakes so i like the older ones for being non linked. Heated grips are easy to add(mine has them), and i v heard a few say the traction control is a joke on the newer ones. I have a Area P slipon on mine and it sounds SWEET with out being overly loud. As far as removing the flies and remapping and all that crap i think is a huge waste of time and money, these bikes have more power than you would ever need and i can roll on in 6th gear from 30mph and she will never hicup and be as smooth as silk. If you pick one up and think you might need a windscreen i have 2 CeeBailys ones right now(a doomed touring and euro touring) that once i figure out which one i'm going to keep on i'll be selling the other one.
  3. It's all untrue everyone knows that the world revolves around me.
  4. Id love to for a change but I'm sure you can't match my current pay
  5. I enjoyed the strom but it didn't thrill me, but I was 100% street on it cause that's the only thing I ride, and that's not what those bikes are built for. But the Connie is everything I've ever wanted in a bike for my size and my riding style. So now I look to ride every chance I possibly can.
  6. That's just what someone said on another forum don't know if that's true or not
  7. im not lawyer but i think its like smokin pipes and such. You can own the vessel but there can be no contents or residue inside. But like a good friend told me one time "the feds don't care about your $2 ass" if your making small bathes for personal use(even though still illegal) they aint going to say shit.
  8. How much will the Skully AR-1 cost? Pricing will be communicated when the beta program begins
  9. Dont know they havent been released yet. They are looking for beta testers but i think you still have to purchase them if selected.
  10. Yum Yum!!!!! http://www.skullyhelmets.com/experience/ http://www.skullyhelmets.com/
  11. tried to make this last year and I ended up bailing last min, go figure that not like me , anywho..ill try
  12. I have nothing against HD's as a bike I just think they are extremely over priced. My wife has a 07 vstar with less than 8000 miles on it we paid $5300 out the door at a dealer for it, its got the bags and windshield, extra chrome bits and all that. How much would a comparable HD cost and be less reliable (in my opinion) than the Yamaha? Plus I think is the stereo type that most(not all) HD riders think they need to portray(every other bike is jap scrap, my penis is bigger than yours, ect). I'll ride with anyone with any style or make of bike but if they start bashing my taste its game on.
  13. You can buy electric and stove top ones on eBay too
  14. The C14 is going to need a new rear sometime this year but she still got some miles left in her. But if I decide to do the Iron Butt ride in June I'll need it sooner.
  15. Wait?Wut?..How did I miss that one..
  16. I commute 19.5 miles a day roudntrip...LOL... but my wife makes up for it and puts about 700 a week on her car, more if she is on call on the weekend
  17. POOF!!!..you wish will be grated in 7 to 60 days
  18. How-D and welcome...lots of good peps in your area
  19. Bad thing is I won't know 100% till the middle of April. Just to way our vacation approvals work. And if I go I would like to split rooms with someone and I also snore like a old bear.
  20. I can't argue with the cruise. Been on about a dozen of them is my preferred method of vacation other than being on the bike. We are planning one for November for our 20 year anniversary.
