Week 3. Down another 2.8 lbs this week. Total loss 12lbs. On to week 4. This next week will be a short one. Will weigh in on Friday morning because me and the Wifey are headed to Atlantic City for the weekend. Will also be considered my first cheat days/weekend.
Bigger wind screen on the Injun today. Veteran owned company out of Colorado makes these. Called freedom shields. Very high quality and and they fit the stock quick mount. 1 in taller with a cuved top lip and much wider towards the top vs stocker. Should get rid of the buffeting she said she gets righ at the top of her helmet.

Just got to work this morning, did not get a chance to test ride last night. and...YES!! it absolutely solved my problem she butter smooth again and a much better feel being all fresh. The rotor floats or buttons are all free that was the first thing I checked. They are not round on EBC rotors they are square so less likely to get clogged little better of a deign except for when they accually do get clogged. .
Over 75k miles on the old girl and she developed a bit of shaking under light braking. Goes away under heavy braking. The rotors were wet sanded last week and made no difference and no they arent wrapped. Less than .003 run out. Ebc rotors so they have the square rotor buttons but all seem to move freely. So i decided with the milage and the fact its never been done it was time to rebuild the calipers.

Mostly #2....
I wouldn't use any of these disk locks. The first time you forget it's on there you fuck up you caliper, fender or worse it upsets the bike and you drop it.
Sorry I can't to commit to any weekends in the next month if I go down will be a last min thing, and really can't do a 4 day trip. And if I could definitely wouldn't be doing any of that trailer nonsense.
Bulkyness is why I love my heated gear. Layers are bulky. I can go down to the mid 20s with just my tour jacket and heated liner and gloves. Later in the day when it warms up, liner off and vents open.
If you don't want to be super invested in it keep an eye out on ADV Rider for used stuff. Most heated gear is barley used and can find for around half the cost of new stuff.
Keep us posted on any plans. I said i wanted to squeeze a extra trip out this year. As long as it's not a weekend my kid has a school event and I can get my work counterparts to cover me a saturday I might be interested.
I'll agree with
The actual gap area isnt bad at all during those color times. Most of the mini vans stick to the NP or BRP. Although a couple year ago the BRP wasnttoo bad except for around the Linville Viaduct area but the color we seen in that little traffic back up made it worth while I think.
Did you check youtube? My wife had a vstar 1100 with the V&H slashes on it it. I can tell you it was deep and obnoxiously loud. On long trips she had me put her stock pipes on till we got back.
