Not sure about the 650's but the 1100's were also proned to shity starter clutches. But that might not match your symptoms. My wife's previous bike kept having what I thought was low battery issues because would start with a jump. Ended up being the starter clutch was hanging up and a jump was giving it the extra juice it needed to get over the hang up.

Speaking of smells on a plane. I had a bag of beef jerky on a flight to Vegas one time. A flight attendant told me a passenger ask her to ask me if I could not open it anymore because the smell was making her nauseous. I left it closed because well I'm not a total dick and I was ask nicely. While exiting the plane I stopped to figure out where the pisser was and a woman walked by with a PETA shirt on. I'm betting it was her. Had I know that I would have passed the bag around for all the share.

I used to correct people on that. I got tired of beating that dead horse years ago. Now I just make sure I have all the extra clips I would need with that energy.

I do remember you saying your hiflo pump didn't come with a regulator and mine did. Maybe that is the difference.

Was down a couple pounds last weekend and one pound this weekend. Pretty good considering when we went to Atlantic City labor day weekend I ate like a grazing buffalo. Hoping for 20 lbs total lose this coming weekend since the begining of August.

Cruise CL and FB market for bike for sale with stock pipes.Ask the owners if they will swap you pipes, tell them it will help them sell faster with aftermarket pipes.

08 & 09 C14's can be had on the cheap. Ive seen some in the $3500-$4k range with low miles. Ive seen a few do track days on them(better than any cruiser) Can tour, cruise and rail twisties on them in comfort. Insurance is cheap too.
