  1. Yep, purchased it that way. Its a Phoenix Technology stock set. Got it from http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=44384/sku=100-007-520/Product/Moss-500-590-835-Zombie-Hunter-KickLite-Stock Heat shield is still an option for the next paycheck along with a front mounted light.
  2. Picked up a new dual purpose shotgun this week. Mossberg 500a, 28" vent rib barreled gun that was used but I got a good deal on it with 4 choke tubes and it looked almost new. And just because I can't leave anything well enough alone. After 20 minutes of fiddling with it tonight, it is now a 20" with the 7 shot mag tube and 6 position M-4 style stock with a recoil damper in it. Oh, and I am so ready for any kind of shit.
  3. I was waiting for the nutshot when he tucked it back in his waistband.
  4. The curbing is not all that bad these days. My Sportclassic has a less than modern suspension and I didn't feel it unsettle the bike any more than a regular bump in the road. The trick is to get your butt out of the seat by just a little bit and the bike just glides right over the top of the curb, it almost feels like you are going to motocross it. I was doing my weight shift while I was over the apex of the curbing so when I came back down into the saddle I was already off center and ready to dive into the long right-hander that follows.
  5. Is that the stang you where having the motor bottom end problems with when I was out for the dyno tune on my Triumph? If so, good to hear it's out beating up on the tires again.
  6. I had a really good time when I ran Barber on Oct 10 after the vintage race weekend. I didn't start crossing the curbing on the left chicane around turn 7 until the third session and was amazed at how much easier it made them. I am hoping to go down and run there again next year after the vintage races. It is a great track.
  7. Another good reason to carry a hammerless wheel gun. They don't fire when dropped and have a stiff enough trigger pull to prevent most accidental discharges.
  8. I carry the Smith 340pd as a primary. It would make a perfect bug though. It's the hammerless .357 scandium/titanium J-frame airweight, 12 ounces loaded. I put the CT laser grips on it to help with low light acquisition. After 5 minutes in the pocket you totally forget it is there. With 147 grain defense ammo it does recoil like a scorned mule, not for a person with a weak wrist.
  9. The pistol range at Briar rabbit is all steal knockdown plates. You can hang paper if you want but it is the rarity over there.
  10. I have the speedtest app on my thunderbolt. It lets you look at previous results that are stored on the phone and will generate the image for any of them.
  11. Was this not always a mobile speed test thread.
  12. Verizon 4g, was testing from Columbus. This is only valid though when the phone is working. 4g seems to be elusive on the HTC Thunderbolts at times.
  13. All USGI M1 carbines should be marked just under the edge of the rear sight with the manufacturer. Look under there with a flashlight and you should be able to see something stamped in it forward of the serial number.
  14. What manufacturer was it. You would be surprised at the number of post war copies out there. Depending on who made it, the paint job may increase it's value.
  15. Last time I was at Vance's I looked at the Springfield GI 1911 and the made in Brazil stamp was not on it. It would take some research to be sure, but they may not be foreign anymore.
  16. I already have plans to try and top my bike there next year. A couple guys I work with and I had wanted to run the mile this year and it just wasn't going to work out. Having it local is all kinds of cool.
  17. Winchester superX .25-06 rifle ammo. One full box of 20. the 90gr Positive expanding point rounds. $15.
  18. Tried the link again for the fun of it and they are currently giving away Sport Rider magazine. Lets see if it shows up.
  19. If you still have it in 2 weeks when I get paid again, I will take both. I will hit you up when I know I can afford it.
  20. Probably weren't tied too tight. Another reason to wear the proper gear when riding your motorcycle. You never know when you might hit a big plywood ramp and flip your shit over a foam pit and into a pile of garbage.
  21. The video of the front flip was Sportbike Tommy from the Nitro Circus videos. It was shot at Travis Pastrana's house.
  22. Now if we get a fix for the Thunderbolt guys so my data connection will work worth a darn.
  23. That is the kind of exhaust Harley's need so the owners denim pants stop catching fire.
  24. If it was something more fun I wouldn't have fallen asleep.
