  1. I may be interested in riding tomorrow as well.
  2. I don't know all the details but I do know he lost $15,000 from what should have been given to him from insurance or the state or some kind of money because she didn't have a will. Actually this sounds like what happened, but she had no debts. They lived in a house they have owned for $40 years and the only thing they had to pay on was a car, which my grandpa then promptly sold because they were trying to get him to pay taxes on it since it was half my grandmas.

    Thanks...

This was nice of you but I would not expect that from anyone. If I am selling my bike it is because I either need the money or am buying a new one. Either way I would not want to wait on someone more than maybe a day or 2 if I had other buyers.
  4. There is no such thing as "my" name when you get married, its "our" name now my friend. Find me a recent case where the guy actually got the good end of the divorce? But this changes if one of you dies, then the state says the exact opposite. My grandpa just fought for my grandmas life insurance money but since she never made a will he was screwed out of all the money he had been paying into her life insurance for years. Apparently it doesn't matter that they had been married for 50 years.
  5. haha my unknowing how to spell Exorbitant and hoping for auto correct to fix it plan didn't work out apparently.
  6. But if this does end up being your bike, is it worth the hassle of getting it back in 100 pieces with the possibility of having parts missing/broken from a quick disassemble? Has your insurance given you a quote yet on how much it was worth? I mean I would love for this guy to get caught but what happens when he does? Do you just get a box of the parts that are found or what?
  7. See if he has the engine still, I think that should have the serial number on it which is the last 8 digits of the vin. I could be wrong on this but I think that's how it works. Actually I think I am wrong, but if you get the engine number you can call Honda and they should be able to link it with a vin.

    Thanks...

I Have done that to buyers, had 3 people coming to look at the bike, warned them all of each other. First one came out and paid what I was asking. Done deal, the other 2 who were already on their way had to turn back and go home.

I hate how pictures don't show up at work, I just now saw the comparison pics and they look even more alike than I originally thought. Good work GM, good work.
  11. I certainly don't recommend doing this, I'm just saying it can close with a sport bike lol.
  12. It will close if you put the bike at an angle, got my Daytona in my dads 6 ft bed ranger.
  13. Just ordered the kit from ebay, should be here next week.
  14. If you didn't live so far away I would take you up on that offer.

Maybe thats what I liked the Tiburon, my first car was a 98 z24 lol But I would say the Tiburon was a bit higher up in quality than the z24, it came with leather, Bose stereo and a subwoofer as factory options.
  16. Yeah, sorry to hear about the Fiance as well as hijacking the thread.

    Thats what I was thinking.
  18. "But in the mean time, cough up $100,000+ and live like a peasant from the 1400's for the foreseeable future, its what god wants you to do."
  19. I was on the fence on this too but after reading tons of reviews of people getting 8-12,000 miles per set of PR2's I went with those.
  20. I was dating a girl from senior year in HS to our second year in college. She never struck me as the gold digger type until the first year of college ended and she was stressing out about paying for school. She went to a private christian school with tuition of around $28,000/year with almost no scholarships, I went to a public University on mostly scholarship. After the first year of college she started to really want to get married for some reason, I thought it was because her new christian friends were pressuring her to do so because we were "sinning" doing stuff outside of marriage, so we got engaged with plans to get married after college 3 years later. Turns out, she changed her major from something that pays pretty well and would be able to pay off her school on her own eventually to youth ministry which pays almost nothing, like literally it pays nothing and you rely on the church and what ever they feel like paying you. She knew I was going to come out of school with maybe $20,000 in debt and would be making good money in IT eventually which is why she was pressuring me to get married because she knew she was going to have $110,000+ in loans and no way to pay them back. We broke up a month later and she got married to some other guy she met at school 9 months after that. I hope he knows what he got himself into! Nothing like finishing school with a quarter million dollars of debt. I do not blame her, I blame the school because I truly believe they brainwashed her and everyone that goes there to pay absorbent amounts of money the convince them to pursue "gods work" which doesn't pay shit.
  21. Hmm, maybe backing it up onto the curb would work.
  22. Installation inst an issue. The holes should already be there and it just mounts right up. If someone has a lift I can use it would be much appreciated because this will probably be an hour job laying on the ground or 15 minutes in the air. Either way it shouldn't be too difficult.
