  1. The bike feels like a completely different machine with those new tires, I did get caught in some rain but these PR2s handled it like a champ.
  2. Just had my tires put on by Matt and definitely recommend him to anyone in the area looking for tire service. My tires ended up being a pain in the ass but he got the job done. A+ service.
  3. Sorry to hear that, and I agree that you are probably pretty lucky. Could have been far worse.
  4. Well, she is finally back together and I am very pleased! Looks 100 times better the before and can't wait to take it out tomorrow. Only thing left to do is get the tires put on which I am doing tomorrow thanks to Imprez.
  5. The one on the Sherwin williams building downtown?
  6. cool, thought I was gonna have to start looking for a new ride to Deals Gap lol
  7. Yeah, highway kills the gas mileage on the 250, I could get 65 or 70 in town but only 45 highway. The 250 is pretty much pegged at highway speeds.
  8. Glad I am not the only one with shitty MPG lol Triumphs must just run rich, I looked on fuelly and the average for these bikes is around 35mpg. Kinda strange though when liter bikes and busas are getting 40+. http://www.fuelly.com/driver/jstumpalump150/daytona-600
  9. Not to hijack the thread but how many times have you filled and do you always fill to the exact same point?
  10. How on earth do you manage 46mpg on a 900? My 600 gets 35, 38 if I shift before 6k. My 250 would get 45-50 highway, 65 in the city and back roads. And welcome to the forum msmith!
  11. Seriously, people think I ride because I get great gas mileage on the bike, but in reality I only get 4mpg more than my car and use premium in the bike so it really doesn't make a difference.
  12. Hey, they are comfy and cheap if you buy them from the outlet store.
  13. Trying to convince the girl to go but she doesnt want to spend 4 days with a bunch of guys hence why I asked how many chicks were going lol. She would probably only spend an afternoon riding with me so riding 2 up wouldnt be a big deal for me but I remember seeing somewhere that some of the girls would be doing their own thing during the day.
  14. I like this idea but it would be awesome if it were a north star jacket or something. This looks like something my grandpa would wear. Actually, thats a pretty good christmas present idea for him now that I think about it lol.
  15. Tim, does that have the 3rd row seating? Edit: NVM, looked on your Facebook. On another related note, how many wives/girlfriends/girls are going on this trip?
  16. Speaking of which, do I need to bring any tie downs or anything?
  17. No thanks, I am quite done with the DIY thing when it comes to things like this. I have been frustrated way too much lately doing things myself and would rather pay someone and have it done right and a helluva lot quicker than I can do it(and with less blood).
  18. I think he is referring to the 250, which only has 30HP.
  19. Good to know for when I get mine put on.
  20. As well as on new tires, I believe they are supposed to have a break in period of like 300 miles or something to get all the coating off the surface that they use to remove the tire from the mold.
