Just had my tires put on by Matt and definitely recommend him to anyone in the area looking for tire service. My tires ended up being a pain in the ass but he got the job done. A+ service.
Well, she is finally back together and I am very pleased! Looks 100 times better the before and can't wait to take it out tomorrow. Only thing left to do is get the tires put on which I am doing tomorrow thanks to Imprez.
Glad I am not the only one with shitty MPG lol Triumphs must just run rich, I looked on fuelly and the average for these bikes is around 35mpg. Kinda strange though when liter bikes and busas are getting 40+. http://www.fuelly.com/driver/jstumpalump150/daytona-600
How on earth do you manage 46mpg on a 900? My 600 gets 35, 38 if I shift before 6k. My 250 would get 45-50 highway, 65 in the city and back roads. And welcome to the forum msmith!
Seriously, people think I ride because I get great gas mileage on the bike, but in reality I only get 4mpg more than my car and use premium in the bike so it really doesn't make a difference.
Trying to convince the girl to go but she doesnt want to spend 4 days with a bunch of guys hence why I asked how many chicks were going lol. She would probably only spend an afternoon riding with me so riding 2 up wouldnt be a big deal for me but I remember seeing somewhere that some of the girls would be doing their own thing during the day.
I like this idea but it would be awesome if it were a north star jacket or something. This looks like something my grandpa would wear. Actually, thats a pretty good christmas present idea for him now that I think about it lol.
Tim, does that have the 3rd row seating? Edit: NVM, looked on your Facebook. On another related note, how many wives/girlfriends/girls are going on this trip?
No thanks, I am quite done with the DIY thing when it comes to things like this. I have been frustrated way too much lately doing things myself and would rather pay someone and have it done right and a helluva lot quicker than I can do it(and with less blood).
As well as on new tires, I believe they are supposed to have a break in period of like 300 miles or something to get all the coating off the surface that they use to remove the tire from the mold.
